SUMMARY:PRAY FOR THE 19/70
DESCRIPTION:Students, church members and church leaders are admonished
  to join in a campus wide prayer movement for students on today’s co
 llege campuses. With an estimated 19 million students on campuses in t
 he US and Canada - the equivalent of the population of America’s fiv
 e largest cities and 70 % of Adventist students now attending these ca
 mpuses, students are requesting prayer as they live out their faith in
  a highly concentrated secular environment. Students need prayer for:\
 n\n*life direction\n*choice of friends and life partners\n*career choi
 ce\n*spiritual and emotional stability\n*finances\n*academic and gener
 al campus pressure\n*health\n*family and peer pressure.\n\nPray For Th
 e 19/70 is a request that we lift up our students in a movement of pra
 yer asking for God’s presence in their life and a powerful witness a
 mong their friends. It is an invitation for students to pray for one a
 nother and join in an on line forum of prayer requests and answers to 
 prayer. God calls us to “Seek Him with all our hearts” and promise
 s that when we do, “we will be found by Him.” Jeremiah 29:13, 14.\
 n\nDesignated Weekly Prayer Time: Thursday’s @ 9 pm (Eastern Time Zo
 ne). Daily and spontaneous prayers are always welcome and appreciated.
  However, the designated prayer time allows those who are able a sched
 uled time of prayer in a vast coordinated prayer movement where voices
  of earnest entreaty can be directed to God. Let’s pray for our stud
 ents, faculty, university staff, God’s presence and glory on the cam
 pus. Let’s pray for students to experience God in their lives and fo
 r an increased desire to serve him with their minds, hearts and in the
 ir relationships. Let’s pray that the university will prepare them t
 o serve God in their careers as they leave the university and enter th
 e work place. Let’s pray for the name of Christ to praised on campus
 !\n\nTo join in “Pray For The 19/70” you can pray by yourself or j
 oin with others in a designated prayer time on tuesday evenings or wha
 tever time works best for your group and begin to lift up prayers for 
 your students and campus. Then look for direction on how to log in pra
