When God says No, we should simply be grateful for he is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient. We see and desire the present, but he sees the future, and blesses us as he wishes and brings good tidings. His plans towards us are to give us a good ending Jer. 29:11
Know He loves us, and that if He loves us that much, much more than we can even comprehend, then there must have been a really good reason...know that, but know too you can be honest with Him,tell Him what is on your heart and mind, and our out yoru heart before Him. He is your Father, and He knows best how to comfort you and help you through that. Overall, trust that He loves you, and one day you will understand why...

If the things that we ask is not of gross sins, how do we know God really says "no"...,

For nothing is impossible with God. Luke 1:37 NIV
