Being a vegetarian is not a ticket to heaven. Man can eat MEAT. It is in the bible , what meat they can and cannot eat.
I believe that if one had to be vegetarian before going to heaven. God woudn't tell man that they can eat meat. GOD DOESNT TELL or FOOLED PEOPLE LIKE PEOPLE DO.
perfect Stacey, please discipline them. lol
if food is the basis of salvation... i will grow different types vegetation... and eat them all. hahahha
I will start with you first. And we doing it old school , SPANKING, HEHE
Cherish, that idea is remarkably incorrect. "For by grace ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2: 8-10
Although a vegetarian diet may be much healthier, it is in no way the deciding factor of acceptance into the Kingdom of God.
We have to remember that God judges us by the light we are given, that is why He has sheep of many folds in many denominations. But if we have light on an issue and choose to reject it then and only then do we have a problem...
That being said I think that as Adventist, if we are given through SOP the light o health reform I think it would be foolish of us to reject it, but each man has to be convicted of the Holy Spirit on any issue in his own time and God understands that...
i have a dear friend who loves JESUS who believes that and makes it a point to say that often
we are very tight!
I believe that it is not about the meat, or the dress, or the movies or the smokes - I believe it is about the heart.
If someone truly does not see the wrong in eating meat (God will not be mocked - He knows the heart) to them, it is not sin.
However, if meat eating is poisoning the body and dulling the mind, and an individual knows that he/she is defiling the temple, continuing on that path is *rebellion* this is where I believe the problem is - the heart
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. - James 4: 17
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Martin Luther drank beer and hated Jews - he was ignorant. It seemed right to Him, but genuine ignorance is something that God takes into consideration when He judges.
I don't think the issue is whether it is right or wrong, my sister; I think Cherish was asking about the validity of the fanatic's stance.
God will not send people to hell for meat eating, but He will for rebellion.
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
And the people flew upon the spoil, and took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew them on the ground: and the people did eat them with the blood.
Then they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against the LORD, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have transgressed: roll a great stone unto me this day.
God bless you, my dear sister.
