My personal view
We should consider just like someone who is dying from old age or cancer in old age. Our performance or even memory don't approve us for Heaven. If the person knew Jesus and trusted Him They are saved!
" 16So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who (E)runs, but on (F)God who has mercy."- Romans 9:16...- Romans 9:16... We should God as more mericful is the Judge who takes all things and the ways of life into consideration and His judgement will be completely loving and fair. I believe the Lord will raise these people as they were before the disability. He is even the one who holds memory in His hand. He is the One who delights in mercy.
Amen! Disease does not separate us from our Lord! He knows what we have committed unto Him against that day and He will save those who love and trust Him. He will raise them up in newness of life to live with Him forever! 1 Thess. 4:15-18
YES !! Praise God ... this person's name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. You can go to the bank on that. No doubt. Absolute Assurance. Our God is Faithful.

Our Salvation is not based upon knowledge. It is based on what is in the heart. And praise God .... HE knows our heart and what we would do even if we never had any knowledge of God.
