I often wonder did our Saviour, Christ our Lord  eat and drink wholesome foods

like milk and eggs as part of His diet.  your comments are most welcomed here.

Isaiah  7:14    Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
7:15    Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

Luke  11:11    If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if [he ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
11:12    Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
11:13    If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more....

Luke  24:42    And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
24:43    And he took [it], and did eat before them.

And there are the loaves and fishes.

So, don't feel so bad when you have your "comfort foods".  No one will be lost for such things.

Yet, in spite of this, we should avail ourselves of the blessings of the Eden diet, where it is possible.  Or, at least for the most part.  You're a grown person.  You know what's good for you.  Don't let anyone pressure you about anything.

Col.  2:16    Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]:

Romans  14:17    For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

1 Cor.  6:13    Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them.

Mark  7:18   ...whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, [it] cannot defile him;
7:19    Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

14:14    I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that [there is] nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him [it is] unclean.

Romans  14:20    For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed [are] pure; but [it is] evil for that man who eateth with offence.

Nice one. Made me crazy for being a vegetarian.

nope, those verses are not dietary advise at all. Meat & drink here is concerning offerings. We are no longer judged for the sacrificial system.

Same with those other verses, the Gentile is no longer considered unclean.

While clean meats are alright as many of the health videos show they are not the best diet. If you want all the western diseases just follow the typical western diet. Pills are not the answer to disease, or diet is.

If more people paid attention to the diets of the commoner many years ago, they would realize that due to expense. The poor man rarely if ever ate meet, but was rather eating things like beans rice..etc..

Where as only the wealthy class had what we consider the western diet..

Then if one does a bit more research they will find that the poor people lived much longer, healthier lives.

Pinto beans, rice and wheat flour got my great grandma's family of 12 though the depression just fine.

My medicine cabinet..

Where is the like button?

Did I also mention that pretty much any fruit or veggie can be freeze dried, sealed and stored for later at home? Or that beans, rice..etc.. need no special treatment and can be stored for some time.

Just something for people to keep in mind, so there is no need for hunting next winter..

I ironically i am reminded of the story "The Grass Hopper and the Ant.". lol

Storing, and jarring foods in a root cellar can get a person pretty far.

Such a great variety of colors, daughter.  Looks like my fridge, lol.

Looks good brother. ;0)

I like that cabinet.

Ty. :0)

I wish I could stick to such a diet, but BBQ chicken/ steak pie taste so GOOOOD.
