I don't know of hime making jokes but I am sure he has a sense of humor or he wouldn't of created us. As long as we are clean and pure in all things then I guess it is ok for we do have a sense of humor. Well some of us do anyway.
nice one... ! thanks.. (^_^)...
Jesus didn't tell jokes at all.

Let's examine the meaning of the word "Joke or Jokes" from the Cambridge dictionary:

1 to say amusing things
2 If you think that someone is joking when they say something, you think that they do not really mean it.

Someone who likes telling amusing stories or doing stupid things in order to make people laugh.

Now Jesus had no time to tell amusing stories to people, He had a great deal of work to do, He had a very big burden on His shoulders and most of the time, he was teaching the Kingdom of heaven is at hand, or at the mountain side praying.
His message was so penetrating that the hearers never saw any humor in it, because it was a message for conviction to make individuals return to God.

Imagine this, did Jeremiah joke? I mean standing in the city and proclaim God's message and warn people of the impending destruction, you surely have less time on your fingertips to pull a joke!
Although in the bible we read that Elijah taunted the priests of Baal at Mt. Carmel, but that's far from being a joke as a matter of fact when you taunt someone you make them annoyed.

It Is not written anywhere that Jesus joked, He just had no time to engage in jokes, the disciples were always at his feet asking questions and he would be teaching all the time.

I conclude by saying He didn't make any joke.
ohhmmm... i have good information so far from this site, thanks for sharing your thoughts and information.... (^_^)....
All I know is that things get SO serious around here ... that we DO need a few light hearted moments.
yeah, you're right...
Did Jesus ever laugh?
I think He did, ofcourse He spoke to young children, and I am sure you can't speak to kids with a serious face. So he smiled to the young.

It has been said that Jesus never smiled. This is not correct. A child in its innocence and purity called forth from His lips joyous song.--Manuscript 20, Feb. 12, 1902, "Our Elder Brother." {UL 57.7}
The kind of jesting and foolish talking that's condemned in the Bible, is indulged in by unholy, ungodly people who belong to this world and are at perfect peace with this world. This is their home. This is their heaven. This is all they get.

Matt. 6:2, 5, 16 Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

The world is their oyster. Instead of eternal life, they get to enjoy all the pleasures of sin for a season. They can exalt themselves and live in their own delusion, and believe all the lies of Satan. Do not envy them, but pity them, and pray for them. They may come to despise themselves as they see they are unthankful, and unholy, (2 Tim. 3:2-4), and have despised the mercy of the God who has been caring for them their whole lives:

Job 21:7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?
21:8 Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.
21:9 Their houses [are] safe from fear, neither [is] the rod of God upon them.
21:10 Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.
21:11 They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance.
21:12 They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ.
21:13 They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.
21:14 Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.
21:15 What [is] the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

Matt. 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Luke 6:21 " Blessed [are ye] that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed [are ye] that weep now: for ye shall laugh."

Ecc.3:4 "A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance"

Gen. 21:6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, [so that] all that hear will laugh with me.
As the children gathered the wildflowers growing so abundantly around them, and crowded up to present to Him their little offerings, He received them gladly, smiled upon them, and expressed His joy at seeing so many varieties of flowers. {UL 57.4}
