It's been awhile since I have posted, and much has happened in that time. God has shown me so much of our filth and guilt. The SDA church claims to have come out of Babylon, while the rest of the Body is still in confusion, yet I ask, is She really?

There are still Tammuz trees in the sanctuary every December. It is acknowledged that Christ wasn't born on the 25th, which is actually the birthday of several pagan gods that we inherited from catholicism, but it is never taught that He was most likely born during the Feast of Tabernacles, which is literally about God dwelling with mankind.

Every easter, which is literally a transliteration of the name of a pagan goddess of fertility and another inherited tradition from catholicism, there is an easter program, that while it may not take place on sunday, still recognizes the solemnity of the day, while never truly acknowledging that fact that Christ was literally the Passover Lamb and was crucified on that day, as well as raised on First fruits.

Christ is called Jesus, which is an amalgamation of the Greek word GE, (there was no letter J until the 1500's), which means earth, and the Latin word SUS, which means pig or swine. This speaks directly to Antiochus Epiphanes and the pig he sacrificed in the temple during the Maccabean era. Put together, the name means earth pig, instead of His given name Yashua, which literally means YHVH is Salvation. Again, another inherited tradition from catholicism.

The very word "church" comes from the Greek word CIRCE, which refers to an ancient sorceress who deceived people. She was the daughter of the sun. THE DAUGHTER OF THE SUN! She was a harlot who changed men into pigs. In the Greek of the New Testament, the Body of Christ is called the Ecclesia, (which means the gathering of people) not the church\circe, (which is where we get the word circle, as in circle of the sun) even though the word existed, because the writers knew what that word represented. That word in reference to the Body, also came from catholicism.

These are just a few examples of many, so i must ask honestly, have we truly came out of Babylon? I encourage everyone reading this to do your own research and don't take my word for it. It's not even that hard to find. I advice you to look in encyclopedias and books about etymology (the study of words and their origins), so you can avoid any biased information towards or against what I have been led to share. Be blessed and happy studying.

you have resisted Truth and your mind have become darken. You are majoring in minorities.  Can you provide a verse to support your accusations?

Sure brother Jason. Here are a few. These verses speak of the importance of coming out of the Babylonian religious system. Interestingly, Babylon is synonymous with confusion, and one of it's meanings, according to the concordance, is mixing what is profane with that which is holy.

Revelation 18:2-4

And he cried mightily[a] with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

Jeremiah 51:44-45

44 I will punish Bel in Babylon,
And I will bring out of his mouth what he has swallowed;
And the nations shall not stream to him anymore.
Yes, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

45 “My people, go out of the midst of her!
And let everyone deliver himself from the fierce anger of the Lord.

These next few verses speak of being separated from anything that is considered unholy, regardless of how minor it may seem to our simple minds.

2 Corinthians 6:16-17

16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you[a] are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” 17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”

Ezekiel 8:8-14

Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.

And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.” 10 So I went in and saw, and there—every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed all around on the walls. 11 And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up. 12 Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’” 13 And He said to me, “Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.” 14 So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.

Jeremiah 7:17-20

17 Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger. 19 Do they provoke Me to anger?” says the Lord. “Do they not provoke themselves, to the shame of their own faces?”

20 Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, My anger and My fury will be poured out on this place—on man and on beast, on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground. And it will burn and not be quenched.”

Something interesting about these verses in Jer 7 as well as Eze 8, is that if you study the cultural context, you find that the Israelites were still serving God, at least with their hands, but they were also serving these false gods by participating in the rituals and customs of the people around them. I mean it was fun for the kids and they weren't actually worshiping these false gods, just kinda enjoying the festivities. Yet even though it was something seemingly small to us, like making cakes, gathering wood, and making a fire, God saw it as an abomination and personal affront against Him as our Creator.

These next verses speak about the importance of being sanctified, or set apart from not only the world, but also the Babylon system of worship.

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Side note: This verse says if we are conformed to the world, we can't discern what is right and wrong.

John 17:15-18

15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

2 Thessalonians 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,

John 4:24

24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

These are just a few of the verses that teach that we must abstain from the ways of the world and remain stain free from Babylon's influence. You'll notice I asked that no one take my word for it and study to show your self approved. The information I was led to share can be found in historical records, and the specific correlation in Scripture can be found with in-depth study, especially looking at the original Hebrew and Greek words and their meanings. Thanks for your input and be blessed..

Do you still remember what is actually connected with Babylon? In the OP you listed Christmas, Easter, and some semantics ? Are these the issues at stake here  ? Although above your posted some passages dealing with idolatry which has nothing to do with what you listed in the OP.

Offshoots love to major in Minorities. ...

Arrogance and antagonism is very unbecoming of you brother. If you would like to properly discuss this topic like adults, we can continue. However, if you insist on name calling and asking rhetorical questions based on nothing more than your facetious opinion, feel free to move along. I know full well what is connected with Babylon, which condenses down to sun worship. I think it may very well benefit you to actually study how those idols in those verses where worshiped in conjunction with the worship of YHVH,  and to study the history of the religious festivals you seem to be defending. There are no verses in the Bible about those holidays, but there is a lot in the history books, as well as the "semantics" mentioned. I pray God blesses you in your studying.

ok, well i will post your allegations here

1. God has shown me so much of our filth and guilt.

2. The SDA church claims to have come out of Babylon, while the rest of the Body is still in confusion

3. There are still Tammuz trees in the sanctuary every December.

4. Every easter,...there is an easter program, that while it may not take place on sunday, still recognizes the solemnity of the day

5. Christ is called Jesus, which is an amalgamation of the Greek word GE,

6. Put together, the name (Jesus) means earth pig, instead of His given name Yashua, which literally means YHVH is Salvation.

7. The very word "church" comes from the Greek word CIRCE, which refers to an ancient sorceress who deceived people. THE DAUGHTER OF THE SUN! She was a harlot who changed men into pigs.

Then you concluded "These are just a few examples of many, so i must ask honestly, have we truly came out of Babylon?"

the texts you posted has nothing to do with those allegations. Do you believe sister White was a prophet of God?

And how did God show you these things, was it through visions, dreams etc?

It was through study of His Word and world history. I will respond in this way.

1- Are you saying the SDA have no guilt?

2- Have you put one ounce of study into proving or disproving the statements I made, or are you basing your assessment on conjecture and opinion?

3- Do you have knowledge of Tammuz and the symbolism of evergreen trees brought into his worshipers homes?

4- How is a factual statement, (there are easter programs every year) an allegation?

5-,6- These two go together. Again, how is a factual statement an allegation. Look at a Strong's concordance G1093 = GE- earth, ground, ect. , then look at a latin (which is the official language of the RCC,) under the word SUS. Here I'll make it easy for you but feel free to see for your self. -

sūs, suis
Engl. sow, swine
noun (c., 3rd irregular declension)
Christ's actual name was Yashua, and it literally does mean YHVH is Salvation, so I don't see where the "allegation" comes into play.
7-  Again, I will make it easy for you to get the info, but you must be willing to study for yourself. Here is a link to the etymology of the word "church".
and here's a link on the word circe-
These barely scratch the surface, so once again, I encourage you to look deeper for yourself.

OK, tell us what goes on at these ' Easter programs'?  I will re post an article on Christmas.

Also Ellen White said a lot on 'church' and 'Jesus'. You seem to have more light than her...

Not until you actually study the info yourself. I will say this though, Ellen White never mentioned that there would be homosexual pastors are transgender people either, yet here we are in 2018. She spoke on what God wanted her to speak on at the time. Just because she didn't speak of Yashua or how easter\ishtar is rooted in paganism doesn't make it false, and just because she used the names she was taught to use doesn't make them true. Whatever light I have doesn't come from me, so it isn't mine to make claim to. I would expect you to know that.

When I learned about those things that influenced the "church" in 1975 onwards I used to say to people who had a Christmas tree "Oh, you have a Nimrod Tree?" Which is a way of opening up the discussion. I did not celebrate Christmas for many years. Finally I decided well its good people are talking about the Messiah and being kind. I know the truth, and the topic can still be brought up and discussed during the holy days (holidays).

Now regarding the name of the Messiah. You are correct about the no letter J, it was Y, . The combination of GE and SUS, I will have to look into that. I thought Jesus was a common name at the time, as even the Talmud uses the name Jesus in many places:

"Even Jesus the Christian who it seemed that he would be the Messiah and was killed in court, Daniel had already prophesied about him, as it is said, "And the violent men of your people will be lifted up to fulfill the vision, and they will be failed (Daniel 11:14)." And is there a greater failure than this? All of the prophets spoke of the Messiah, the redeemer of Israel and their savior, and the gatherer of the captives, and the strengthener of their mitzvot--but this one cause Jews to be lost by the sword, and for their remnants to be scattered and humbled, and to change the Torah, and for the majority of the world to do wrong by worshiping a god other than God." Mishneh Torah, Kings and Wars
Chapter 11
Author: Rambam
Composed in Middle-Age Egypt (c.1176 - c.1178 CE). The fourteenth book is Sefer Shofetim (Judges: the laws relating legislators, the Sanhedrin, the king, and the judges — it..

But I think God knows whom we are referring to when we use the name of Jesus Christ, it has worked for me before and after I knew these facts, as most Christians don't know this information, how do you minister to someone in the name of Yeshua and they would not know what you are talking about and if you tell them they generally won't believe it? T

These are difficult issues, and I think everyone has to make up their own mind and work out their own salvation.

Do we need to separate totally from the world in your eyes? EGW said this about Christmas

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.... This do, and thou shalt live.” The words spoken to the lawyer are applicable to every soul inquiring, “What shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

If we do love God with all the heart, we shall remember his claims upon us. He requires that we shall be like him, that we shall imitate the self-sacrificing life of Christ. Jesus said of himself, “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” The joy ever before him was the blessing and uplifting of fallen humanity. Everything else was secondary and subordinate. From the manger to Calvary his life was one scene of loving effort and sacrifice for the good of men. If Christ is dwelling in our hearts, we shall have the same spirit, and shall do the same work. Our thoughts, our interests, our sympathies, as well as our words and money and effort, will be given to the up-building of the Redeemer’s kingdom. And this not merely as a duty; it will be our life, our joy. As the living water bursts from the mountain spring, so will our life flow out in words and deeds of love.

This spirit of self-sacrifice has become feeble in the hearts of Christ’s professed followers. Instead of gratefully inquiring, “What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?” how many of those who claim to have been redeemed by the blood of Christ, seem bent on self-pleasing. Even Christmas, the day observed professedly in honor of the birthday of Christ, has been made a most effective means of turning the mind away from Christ, away from his glory. If Christmas is kept at all, it should be kept in a way that will be in harmony with its significance. Christ should be remembered, his name honored; the old, old story of his love should be recounted. Instead of saying by our actions that we are putting Christ out of our minds and hearts, we should testify to men, to angels, and to God, that we remember our Redeemer, by following his example of self-sacrifice for others’ good. But the day chosen to honor Christ is devoted by the many to honoring and pleasing themselves. Appointed to keep the Saviour in remembrance, it is spent in causing him to be forgotten.

How stinted are the offerings that on this day go into the Lord’s treasury! how large the sums that are spent in presents to one another! Yearly those who have means, have put God from their remembrance, and bestowed their gifts upon those who have no need of them, and who could repay them again. How many of you have thus needlessly expended time and money, while close under the shadow of your own homes the poor and needy have been neglected, and while the message of truth has been restricted in its work. The means that was devoted to gratify pride and foster vanity would have been a great blessing to the needy, and would have carried the gospel light to those who sit in darkness.

God is the giver of every gift, and he has honored men by making them his stewards, that they should prove themselves faithful in disbursing their means in gifts and offerings to sustain his cause. The Lord has not withheld his blessing from man; he has given his only begotten Son to come into this world to suffer and die, that by believing in him we should have eternal life. He that withheld not his own Son, but gave him as an offering to save us from hopeless misery, how much more will he not with him freely give us all things! What offering will we individually present to Jesus our Saviour for this priceless treasure? Will it not be the very best plan to celebrate the coming Christmas by bringing God to our remembrance, and showing our love to him by putting our gifts into his treasury? These gifts are needed, that the gospel may be sustained, and the truth may reach all parts of the world.

The rich can bring to God a liberal offering, saying, “All things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.” Thus they acknowledge the claims of God upon them, and show honor to Christ. In this work the poor also may act a part. God does not estimate the value of our gifts to his cause by their amount in money; he looks upon our motives. It is the heart service that makes the gift valuable. When the Majesty of heaven became a babe, and was intrusted to Mary, she did not have much to offer for the precious gift. She brought to the altar only two turtle doves, the offering appointed for the poor; but they were an acceptable sacrifice to the Lord. She could not present rare treasures such as the wise men of the East came to Bethlehem to lay before the Son of God; yet the mother of Jesus was not rejected because of the smallness of her gift. It was the willingness of her heart that the Lord looked upon, and her love made the offering sweet. So God will accept our gift, however small, if it is the best we have, and is offered from love to him.

Will you not acknowledge Jesus as the chief object of your affections, by your free-will offerings to him? Will not parents educate their children to appreciate the great love of Christ, and his wonderful gift? Will they not teach them for his sake to practice self-denial, that they may bring their grateful offerings to Him who for our sake became poor, that we through his poverty might be rich? Instead of sending gifts to one another, let your offerings, large and small, flow into the treasury of God, as the many rivulets flow toward the mighty ocean. The lessons thus taught to your children will be such as God can approve.

Under the Jewish economy, on the birth of children an offering was made to God, by his own appointment. Now we see parents taking special pains to present gifts to their children upon their birthdays; they make this an occasion of honoring the child, as though honor were due to the human being. Satan has had his own way in these things; he has diverted the minds and the gifts to human beings; thus the thoughts of the children are turned to themselves, as if they were to be made the objects of special favor. That which should flow back to God in offerings to bless the needy and carry the light of truth to the world, is turned from the right channel, and frequently does more harm than good, encouraging vanity, pride, and self-importance. On birthday occasions the children should be taught that they have reason for gratitude to God for his loving-kindness in preserving their lives for another year. Precious lessons might thus be given. For life, health, food, and clothing, no less than for the hope of eternal life, we are indebted to the Giver of all mercies; and it is due to God to recognize his gifts, and to present our offerings of gratitude to our greatest benefactor. These birthday gifts are recognized of Heaven.

If Christian parents had accustomed their children to present offerings to God in acknowledgment of his great gift of salvation to men, how different would be the character of the young. Their minds would have been called away from themselves to the blessed Saviour. They would have been taught to feel that he loved them, and that he is the source of all blessing; that he is their hope of happiness and eternal life. If this kind of education had been given to our children, we should today see far less selfishness, far less envy and jealousy; we should have more manly young men and womanly young women. We should see the youth coming up with moral strength, with pure principles, with well-balanced minds and lovely characters, because the Model would be ever before them; they would be impressed with the importance of copying the excellence of Jesus, the pattern. The world will follow its own customs, its maxims and practices; but the children of God will seek to reach the elevated standard of purity and holiness.

God wants the youth and those of mature age to look to him, to believe in Jesus Christ whom he has sent, and to have him abiding in the heart; then a new life will quicken every faculty of the being. The divine Comforter will be with them, to strengthen them in their weakness, and guide them in their perplexity. It will make the mind clearer, the heart purer; it sanctifies the will, and makes it strong for the service of God. It will make plain to them the path of life.

By Mrs. E. G. White on Christmas Review and Herald December 9, 1890

Elijah, I would say separate from Babylon. Honestly, the only thing that separates SDA from other protestants is the Sabbath, health message, and state of the dead. EGW made great points in what you shared about how Christmas has become distorted in focusing on materialism verses spirituality, and that was during the late 1800's. The only thing I would say she missed, because she probably wasn't aware of at the time, was that ChristMASS was never about true spirituality to begin with. It was a pagan holy day that was hijacked by the RCC, in an effort to "convert" the pagans, but also to infiltrate the Body with religious rituals and ceremonies that literally originated in ancient Babylon. I personally know atheists that celebrate Christmas and hide easter eggs for their kids, but profess to hate the very idea of Christ. Look at the big corporations that could care less about our Savior, but push santa and the easter bunny every year. That should at least make a person pause and ask "what is really going on here?"
