Health and the 3 Angels Message
In His love and mercy, God provided through Ellen G. White, a rich treasure of inspired counsel, on a wide variety of subjects, that are important to the remnant church in its task of carrying the three angels' messages to the world. Among the subjects dealt with in this counsel are education, diet, home and family, evangelism, healthful living, practical Christianity, publishing, and medical work. {ChL }
In this forum , I would like to explore the health aspect.
I pray that, in this forum, we all be respectable in our addresses to this subject.
I pray that, by the power of God, all will be blessed.
So with that said, let's begin.
The relation that exists between the mind and the body is very intimate. When one is affected, the other sympathizes. The condition of the mind, affects the health to a far greater degree than many realize. Many of the diseases from which men suffer, are the result of mental depression. Grief, anxiety, discontent, remorse, guilt, distrust, all tend to break down the life forces and to invite decay and death. {MH 241.1}
Disease is sometimes produced, and is often greatly aggravated, by the imagination. Many are lifelong invalids who might be well if they only thought so. Many imagine that every slight exposure will cause illness, and the evil effect is produced because it is expected. Many die from disease the cause of which is wholly imaginary. {MH 241.2}
Courage, hope, faith, sympathy, love, promote health and prolong life. A contented mind, a cheerful spirit, is health to the body and strength to the soul. "A merry [rejoicing] heart doeth good like a medicine." Proverbs 17:22. {MH 241.3}
In the treatment of the sick, the effect of mental influence should not be overlooked. Rightly used, this influence affords one of the most effective agencies for combating disease. {MH 241.4}

Do you have the mind of Christ?
Being that He is our pattern, do you think like Him? Do you behave like Him?
The question that this post has is: Hows your health?
God desires to bring men into direct relation with Himself. In all His dealings with human beings, He recognizes the principle of personal responsibility. He seeks to encourage a sense of personal dependence, and to impress the need of personal guidance. He desires to bring the human into association with the divine, that men may be transformed into the divine likeness. Satan works to thwart this purpose. He seeks to encourage dependence upon men. When minds are turned away from God, the tempter can bring them under his rule. He can control humanity. {MH 242.4}
Now watch this.....
When the gospel is received in its purity and power, it is a cure for the maladies that originated in sin. The Sun of Righteousness arises, "with healing in His wings." Malachi 4:2. Not all this world bestows can heal a broken heart, or impart peace of mind, or remove care, or banish disease. Fame, genius, talent--all are powerless to gladden the sorrowful heart or to restore the wasted life. The life of God in the soul is man's only hope. {MH 115.2}
The love which Christ diffuses through the whole being is a vitalizing power. Every vital part--the brain, the heart, the nerves--it touches with healing. By it the highest energies of the being are roused to activity. It frees the soul from the guilt and sorrow, the anxiety and care, that crush the life forces. With it come serenity and composure. It implants in the soul, joy that nothing earthly can destroy,--joy in the Holy Spirit,--health-giving, life-giving joy. {MH 115.3}

N Him...Your not reading the whole thing. You stopped at "hows your health".
Oh. Okay. Yeah. My health is fine....That sounds like my son when he does not want to listen...or when he's trying to be a wise guy.
Question: Has the gospel been received in its purity and power, in your life?
And Atul..be careful...you are already perfect..in the eyes of God, through Christ, because you have accepted His sacrifice for you. To God be the glory.
Remember.. this forum is on health. Do you have any health issues you are concerned with?

And yes ... I suppose I can find some health issues if I try hard enough. Yes. I do have a sore back. Perhaps some here will have some suggestions for that.
But back to you Atul ... I'm sorry ... I don't have any ideas for your dust allergies. I suppose if you saw a doctor he would just say "avoid dust". HA HA !!!

I'm not sure of where you live, but by your name, it would apear that it is in the Middle East...not sure...however if you would, what does your diet consist of....Any, or most allergies comes from, at least here in the USA, the intake of dairy products.
I've seen people here with that same claim, and suggested that they stop the intake of dairy for a period of say, 1 or 2 weeks and see what happens....they usually come back and thank me. I then point them to God, because God gave me that knowledge.
How much water do you drink?..
And N Him....I'm not talking about the water in you coffee. :>)

So you already have a veg. lifestyle. Check the intake of you water. The intake of raw food....
