Would the gay people be asked to leave?
Would they be ignored?
Would they be welcomed in love?
Would they be interrogated?
Would they be fellowshipped with?
for me? i will welcome them... they deserve heaven too...:)
Relevant topic, Ferdz.... =)
To answer the question, we have a member that is no longer a practicing homosexual....and we love him. No one treats him rudely or disrespectful....and he is very active in church life. He is not effeminate, but his orientation is clearly homosexual. Just had confirmed a young adult that used to attend one of our Sister Churches is a practicing lesbian (stud) and she is a burden on my heart....people love her and do not shun her, but how to approach and speak to the lifestyle while not cutting off ties is a prayerful balance. Please keep her and her family in prayer.
Huh? You definitely misunderstood....=)

What I am saying is that ministering to a person active in the in the gay lifestyle without them feeling they don't belong is a delicate balance. We do have the system and most importantly the relationships in place....and she knows we love her unconditionally. She comes to different events--just attended a baby shower--and knows that she has a home is us.
I also have worked professionally with homosexual youth--but I do appreciate your concern. I hope that better clarifies it for you.
Apology accepted. =)
I WOULD LOVE IT IF A GAGGLE OF SWISHY NELLY QUEENS SHOWED UP
I WOULD WALK OVER TO THEM [IN MY HEART PRANCING WITH JOY OVER THERE]
I KNOW THE REVERENCE IN THE SANCTUARY IS IMPORTANT
BUT I MIGHT SQUEAL VERY LOUDLY WITH DELIGHT
Good point, Alli M...
my gay christian buddy is quiet and a bit of a wallflower
im the butch outgoing one :)
he is very swishy
very soft spoken
and u can see his gayness from space
many gays dont flaunt it
it just looks FLAUNT to homophobes
who get offended
then the mockery starts

Oh yeah I can just see them swishing in...saying in loud tones "Darling"....umm are you wanting an outright riot with handbags flying everywhere..come on now..a bunch of queens would not come in quietly and respectfully but flauntingly and loud lol. They would have ulterior motives to show up in a "SWISHY NELLY QUEEN" group lol.
They would not be there for God..or to really be serious about wanting to know Him.
we must figure them out
discern those loud frilly men!
send an envoy!
make sure their motives are pure! ....all in 45 secs
before we get to know em
or even welcome them?
all ways different rules for the gays
and Alli M.
my notes are general to general
different rules for gays
FROM UNSAFE CHRISTIANS
maybe no one listens to the millions of testimonies of christians sharing why they were at church before they GOT SAVED!
some lookin for a SPOUSE
some to have a place to go to get out
some to keep up appearances
some to get a fix
some to quiet a naggin spouse
some cause its what one does
some need a pick me up
or a let ME down
some to feed their addictions to potluck or social
some to hope its a magic pill
loud or quiet these all are!
some to keep busy
some to be lazy
get away from home for few hours
some come for the beautiful music
not every law abiding good heterosexual christian have pure motives
no knocking down a lever in your hearts for those
i listen to u peoples
no ye not u r on a stage
blocking the way
eply by Alli M. Umm..maybe your meaning of swishing queens is different from ours here..those who do the real swishing and the "darling" and calling each other "tart" and really being flaunting loud and dressing up "to the nines"...are seriously not interested in God.
I probably would not even know they were gay, unless they flaunted it, Just like with rings and other like things. Unless the person flaunts it, I probably will not even notice it. I like to leave these things between the individual and God.
However, if they flaunt it or propogate it or defend it as something that is good, then I'll be speaking up against their ideas. Most likely they will take it as a personal attack. Which is characteristic of someone who holds to an idea so tightly that they become one with the idea. They see a rejection of their idea as a rejection of themselves. That is their problem, another sign of the immaturtity exhibited among homosexuals.
