What sort of question is this Jesus came 1st time to save the world 2nd time he will come to sort out the sheep from the goats. When he comes the 2nd time it will be faster than any transport we could ever imagine.

1st time the fastest transport he ever used was a donkey. He was a humble man and did not indulge in Chariot races that would have been the fastest transport at the time.

So to humour, your silly question Jesus would have a cheap second-hand car and if he needed to do air travel he would travel economy

although cheap second-hand vehicles are not cheap nowadays because they need a lot of fixing and Jesus would probably need a van for all the disciples and a quality one at that because He wouldn't want major troubles with His vehicle.

still economy

You seem to forget that Jesus had the knowledge to do all things including fixing old cars. Jesus was a humble man and did not indulge in any luxuries.

Jesus was humble human so He would have to have been revealed the knowledge on how to fix His vehicle.  Jesus did not indulge in sin in any luxuries, yet He owns everything luxuriously.

Jesus had abilities we do not you seem to forget. Jesus could read other's mind for example. I agree as a Creator he does indeed own everything. I am not too sure what you mean "He owns everything luxuriously"?

Well God as creator owns everything and you can see that there is a lot of luxury in this world you can see that in the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness.

Luxury in this world maybe for some, we see people die of starvation no luxury for them. So the luxury we have is not because we deserve to have the luxury. We have it only because we are greedy and are not prepared to share the riches we have with those who are less fortunate.

Luk 18:18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Luk 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
Luk 18:20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
Luk 18:21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
Luk 18:22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
Luk 18:23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
Luk 18:24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
Luk 18:25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Luk 18:26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

Was Jesus craving luxury? No Jesus wanted to distribute the riches to those who did not have enough to live on.

  • While Jesus was here on earth He walked to reach His destination to carry out His Fathers' word.
  • Jesus also rode on donkeys to reach were He was going.

The reason He walked and went by the donkey and other animals was because:

  • it was the custom in those days.
  • Jesus chooses to us Not His powers.

If Jesus were here today like years ago He would walk, drive even ride....the reason being is because that it what normal men do as to move from one place to another.

Jesus is not a hippie. Hipsters like to make Jesus out to be a Berkenstock wearing hipster like themselves but he is not like that.  Jesus is God and he can move at the speed of thought and use any mode of transport, what ever he chooses to do has a purpose.

So very true Raymond, Maybe brother Andrew has misunderstood why Jesus came to earth. One thing we do know is Jesus was a very humble person, not given to indulging in any kind of worldly display of power or luxury. That kind of display belongs to Satan. Jesus defeated Satan, not in combat but by a display of humility and obedience to God.
