Is it Alright That Our Church Schools/ DLC Join In the Parade During Fiesta Celebration of The Roman Catholic?
Here in the Philippines, Roman Catholics are traditionally celebrating festivals in their towns, baranggays, and cities. Some of our church schools here have Drum & Lyre Corps ( DLC ) . The city government and the baranggay council wrote letters to us to join on the civic and military parade. Would it be okay for us to join? Some brethren have some reactions for these but I asked our Education Department from the Conference and said we can. Could
you react on this ?

Yes, people could recognized our Adventist schools. And there, they can think that one their kids are to be in that nice school too!

Hi saints it is a delicate subject,but easy to answer.You see Saints the enemy of our soul is setting us a trap, to the point that when some of us will open our eyes ,it might be too late to scap from the trap of satan.Hoo...yes,he is working in avery subtle way.You can not catsh bees withe vinager,You have sweet their way in.The is a fine line in the spiritual warfar between Christ and santan,between good and evil,and to know it one has to study the scripture,we can not go by our feeling,if so we will never know or be able to recognize,if it is the spirit of God who is leading us or it satan.No we are clever enough to scap the trap of the enemy,Adam and Eve,neither the holy angels who fall in satan trap.The spirit speak specially for the Last Days of the Earth History,satan will be very agresive to ruin Soul from Jesus Camp.The only way to stop this to happend it is for each soul individually to rely on the scripture and the scripture alone.The scripture is our only Safe Gard,It is writting.For truly i say unto you even angels of lights, will soon come to us as human being,and we will have to know our Bible and the testimonies of Jesus Christ for not being ruin over to satan Camp.That is the reason that, there will be a mighty shaking in the Adventist Church,brethren will no longer see eye to eye on different subject,and many shall go on their way joing satan Cam,and they will say, those are too phanatic,too concervative.No please have part of that.

Philippines is a Roman Catholics country so is france,spain,portugal,Italy,And secular Government and the Roman Catholic church is doing all to integreted the Sevethday Adventist church under their embrella.Even the big "Protestant Church" in Europe,is doing the same.Also the Evangelical churches in America, do all they can to ruinover the Adventist people.Another to operated in europe as a church and not qualified as a "sect",we had to join the Ecumenical Movement.That is for the reason we are ritnessing all sort of thing in the Adventist churches now.A Great Liberal way of doing thing.Christ had said, predicted that before or close to the End of probation for the Adventists people every uncouth thing will take place in the mids of us.And it will take a mighty shacking to separetes the Liberals and the Concervative.All we have to ask,if Jesus was here on earth with us,would he marching in any Pagan Military March? Or parade,or the 120 people who received the Holy Ghost on the pentecoste Day will they take part in those Pagan ritual? We are a peculiar people,we are in the World but not of the World.We do not have to join them to ruin them over,it will not do us any good.We can not stop the Majority to do what they want ,but we do not have to take part of what they are doing.we can not solved the problems,but we can gard the avenue of our soul for not being corupt and carry by the tides.Only the havest time will change things around.But there still may who has not bow to Baal,Please be one of them in the mids of all the confusions.God bless us to stay faithful to him for it is testing time.

CLEVERSON,The interpretation of Peter and Cornelius are not well represented here.Peter did not go to festive in a Pagan holy day or salabration,but he went to baptized a Cornelius.We do not have to join them to win them,for there is an100% chance we might not come out holy from this thing.It is not what looks good wish is good, but the subtance is essentual.By the grace of God let us be wise with a clever enemy.Good speed to you my brother.

@ Emile, my thoughts exactly brother. pretty soon we will misunderstand, misapply the come out of her my people. and VicDay has also made my day on his comment. We are dealing with a party whose CEO is approx 6000 yrs old on this planet and who knows how many years whilst in heaven before being chased out. Would he use obvious means to get us to join and be part of God's opposite? I don't think so.
Having said that, the GC has misfired at different times; on several very critical moments and at those times only certain men, true to God's word and not intent on appeasing their desire for worldly accolades and positions of power in the church organisation stood/stand their ground for God's side.
I mean, am even appalled that we are part of the council of churches....what for? Note how that position has been used to date. Has it been for God or...? Not from what I have read so far? Would appreciate if someone else has different experience.
