Islam, the sign that announces Christ is coming.
We are told to be watchmen, the word has been given for us to study so that we will not be left in darkness, but that unlike Laodicea will will see clearly the events leading up to His coming in order that we would be prepared.
The 144000 will follow the lamb withersoever He goeth, they will have their eyes fixed upon Christ in the sanctuary.
It took them 46 years to rebuild the literal temple. (John 2:20)
The wise men from the EAST were from the descendants of Ishmael, they were the ones who heralded the birth of Jesus to a sleeping Church, they brought the message of His earthly ministry in the sanctuary was about to begin, this was an increase in knowledge.
Jesus rode into Jerusalem on an ASS, a symbol of Ishmael, just before He divorced them as a nation.

Those who did not accept Christ, were not able to discern His move into the Holy Place and were left in darkness.
God rebuilt the temple (His people) from 1798-1844 (46 years)
In the time of the Millerites, it was the prophetic message in regards to the fall of Islam, on Aug 11 1840, when Islam was restrained by the world powers that brought the Angel in Rev 10 (a symbol of Christ) down to empower the message, it was a message in regards to Islam that gave the day for a year principle it's credence, pointing the people to Christ coming. This was an increase in knowledge.
In reality the message was pointing them to His move from the Holy to the Most Holy Place, all those who failed to see this were cut off and left in darkness.
Do we see a sign in our time where Islam was restrained, where a message of this sorts points to Christ coming?
On Sept 11 2001 when the Twin Towers came down, the Angel from Rev 18 came down to light the Earth with HIS glory, and we are now in a time of an increase of knowledge. This time is showing us that Christ has started the judgment of the living, and like in times past, if we fail to see this we will be left in darkness.
God separates the wheat and the tares through a prophetic testing message, that time is now.

I've been trying to follow this teaching, and give it it's just due, on whether if it's true or not... I haven't dug deep into this study, but I hope to do so... I guess in the meantime I'll ask you some questions that will help me in this study.. If it is Truth, then I commend you for trying your best for letting it be known.
What about Islam should we know, and how is GOD using Islam for signs for HIS SDA people to understand prophetic events?
Are you saying we should accept Islam and it's teachings?
Or are you referring to the ultra conservative lunatic terrorist fringe of Islam, and look at their acts of killing others as well as their own Islamic people as a sign of events from GOD?
I'll just start with that for now, because I don't wanna get confused with to much info. Thanks.. :)

Mark I am with you on this. Last year at campmeeting I went to a week long series on Scripture Memorization.. The young pastor had this same kind of thought process goin on. He'd been speaking to his church & they studied it, but he wasnt sure about presenting it in so wide a forum as campmeeting.. He was not sure. At camp pitch, he overheard 2 other pastors discussing how they had both, independantly come to these same conclusions.
Not so much emphasis on the judgement of the living, although the topic was an aside to the class, sort of, so he covered the basics. Daniel 11:40 was Islam striking at 'the king of the north' and him retaliating heavyhandedly and overflowing thier countries.
THIS IS the fulfillment of verses 4o to the next to the last verse. The last verse says tidings from US, the remnant, disturb him and the final war begins.
Then 12:1, Michael STANDS UP for His people...
These are exciting times. The day of attonement is no time for compromise or undermining our foundations..
Its unbelievable how EXACTLY those verses are being played out. Syria, Libya, Egypt.. Even Jordan. All in the midst of fruition.
A solemn time for deep soul searching before our God and Father...
