You can rest in Jesus dear one. We are already justified by His blood. Just claim it. This is the Good News of the Gospel. You can rest in Him. He answered the curse of the Law. He fulfillled the Law so that we don't have to. Praise God for His loving kindness and mercy.
Beulah,

Justification is a free gift given to all. This gift was promised to us in Gen. 3:15. God promised that He would reconcile the human race back to Him. There is nothing you or I can do because it's a problem that only God can fix. Now, can a gift be mine if I don't accept it? That is what we must do. Accept HIs justification. Once we accept, it's like giving Jesus permission to do the work that He needs to do to actually reconcile us back to Him.

You see, before Adam and Eve fell into sin, they had perfect hearts with no sin. So to reconcile us back, Jesus the Creator needs to create in you and me a New Heart- Jer. 3:33; Ps. 51:10. This is called Sanctification. A perfect heart is in harmony with God's Law, because God writes it there.

Blessings.
Sanctification my dear is the work of a lifetime. It is actually a work that is never completed in this lifetime. It only is completed when Jesus comes and you see Him as He is. So, you can rest in Jesus that HE alone answered the curse of the law and you are now justified N Him.
No controversy there!
Amen.

"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:13)

Romans 5:18 "So then as through one trespass [Adam's] judgment came unto all men to condemnation; even so through one act of righteousness [Christ's] the free gift came unto all men to justification of life."

"Perfection through our own good works we can never attain. The soul who sees Jesus by faith, repudiates his own righteousness. He sees himself as incomplete, his repentance insufficient, his strongest faith but feebleness, his most costly sacrifice as meager, and he sinks in humility at the foot of the cross. But a voice speaks to him from the oracles of God's word. In amazement he hears the message, "Ye are complete in him". Now all is at rest in his soul. No longer must he strive to find some worthiness in himself, some meritorious deed by which to gain the favor of God." {ST, July 4, 1892 par. 8}
