Revelation 3
14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Read the counsel to our lukewarm church again, analyze it in terms of content and context. What is the problem; church message -content/ or church people -context? What is the urgent need for our (SDA) church?

Permalink Reply by REDVA MAY FERRIL on February 11, 2012 at 2:55am Thanks for this reminder Benicio. We really, really need to take heed.
"God is leading out a people. He has a chosen people, a CHUCRH, on the earth whom He has made the DEPOSITARIES of HIS LAW. He has committed to them sacred trust and eternal truth to be given to the world. He would REPROVE, and CORRECT them. The message to the Laodiceans is applicable to Seventh-dat Adventist who have great light, and have not walked in the light. IT IS THOSE WHO HAVE MADE GREAT PROFESSION, BUT HAVE NOT KEPT IN STEP WITH THEIR LEADER, THAT WILL BE SPEWED OUT OF HIS MOUTH UNLESS THEY REPENT."[ [Manuscript Release vol 1,No 65--5. p.300]
This is the message that we have to kept wit our leader. For Him not to spewed us out of his mouth. Heed the counsel. Take our task serious.

Permalink Reply by REDVA MAY FERRIL on January 7, 2012 at 4:04am Benicio believe me I just finish having worship with a friend (first elder) who is some what distracted by brethren attitude and behaviour, (on the phone) and I said to Him cooperate with your pastor in the Lord do not be distracted by them. Stand like a brave with your face to the foe but looking on straight on to Jesus. Here you are now with a similar quoted statement, BUT HAVE NOT KEPT IN STEP WITH THEIR LEADER, THAT WILL BE SPEWED OUT OF HIS MOUTH UNLESS THEY REPENT.
God is truly awesome and amazing.
Thank you

Permalink Reply by REDVA MAY FERRIL on February 11, 2012 at 3:06am Amen Benicio.We as Seventh Day Adventist are over blessed and we don't even know it. We are such great pretenders and imposters. We preach on thing and do another. This is way all the false 'doctriners' can fool us because we really don't know what we believe. May God help us to see ourselves.

There have been and will be those who are filled with zeal not according to knowledge, who would purify the church, and uproot the tares from the midst of the wheat. But Christ has given special light as to how to deal with those who are erring, and with those who are unconverted in the church. There is to be no spasmodic, zealous, hasty action taken by church members in cutting off those they may think defective in character. Tares will appear among the wheat; but it would do more harm to weed out the tares, unless in God's appointed way, than to leave them alone. While the Lord brings into the church those who are truly converted, Satan at the same time brings persons who are not converted into its fellowship. While Christ is sowing the good seed, Satan is sowing the tares. There are two opposing influences continually exerted on the members of the church. One influence is working for the purification of the church, and the other for the corrupting of the people of God." {TM 46.1}

Hi VPRaul
What are you is calling "special Light?" The Shepherd's Rod message?
When Ellen White is talking about tear will appear among the wheat, she mean people like the Shepherd's Rod.
That is why she says; the satan at the same time brings persons who are not coverted into its fellowship" , like Victor T. Houteff and others.
