praise GOD!
i can come at u in many different ways
this topic has made me love JESUS more than anything
one way to look at this is to say
both are DIVINE BEINGS with total and infinite powers presence abilities and intelligence
and self existing
you and i are created and finite and need water air food ect to exist
we are not divine
we are human
my son is human
he is not less than human cause he is my son
his being is not less than human
GOD THE SON IS NOT LESS GOD
HIS BEING IS GOD
also!
another way is for me to share some profound conclusions that has warmed the cold cockles of my heart
what i share is SACRED
and all may not see or understand or agree with
I believe that before anything was made there was a FAMILY
a GOD FAMILY
THREE BEINGS who looked into each others eyes for vastless ceasing eons
with pure LOVE for each other
as the billion and zillion and googles go by their LOVE INCREASED so much that it was decided to expand their FAMILY
IT had to create
IT had to expand
IT had to grow!
by creating intelligence outside of themselves that is cognizant would require some serious fail safes
that will alter devistate the GOD FAMILY for eternity forward.
to be continued...
Yes Jesus is God because he said he is the I AM (GOD)

Jason
what are you really trying to say?? you quoted Doug Bachelor who clearly states that there is three distinct persons meaning plural in the Godhead. The bible teaches that there is one God and if you are saying three persons then you are saying three Gods. Then you quoted that we humans have mental limitations to grasp the complilation of the Godhead. This is so true but this contradicts what you quoted from Doug Bachelor.
The Godhead is a mystery it is one God with three distinct person singular meaning one God. We really cannot comprehend that because it is a mystery.

What is your point I did not state anything different from this in my previous response I stick to it the God head is made up of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit but one God not three.
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
so you disagree with Ellen G White on this very important Subject
The Comforter that Christ promised to send after He ascended to heaven, is the Spirit in all the fullness ofthe Godhead, making manifest the power of divine grace to all who receive and believe in Christ as a personal Saviour. There are three living persons of the heavenly trio; in the name of these three great powers—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—those who receive Christ by living faith are baptized, and these powers will co-operate with the obedient subjects of heaven in their efforts to live the new life in Christ.—Special Testimonies, Series B, No. 7, pp. 62, 63. I have been through this with you before so I just saying it one last time there is only one God.
The Godhead is a mystery so do not think that you could understand it.
The incarnation of Christ is a mystery also.
God is the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
Jesus is the manifestation of the fullness of the Godhead bodily
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of the fullness of the Godhead bodily
All three are one but is referred to as he/him when spoken of individually.
Now this is the Godhead we talking about not human you and I and it is a mystery so dont think you can logic this out.
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
I hope you understand.
blessed
so you do disagree with the prophet, you said that there are 3 person of the God head not three persons meaning one person
Permalink Reply by Man Flower Glow on February 5, 2012 at 2:48pm THE GOD FAMILY knew sin would happen

Holding others up before you!
LOVE
paul wrote on that in 1 cor 13
anyhoo..
GOD knew that before creating any creature THE GOD FAMILY would have to take roles
A FIGURE HEAD FATHER on the throne in unapproachable light that would oversee the entire universe
A SON (in SUBMISSION) walk with the Angels as MICHAEL and then as JESUS to walk with and die for Man
THE HOLY SPIRIT to be in ALL HIS CREATION communing luring speaking ever present everywhere
GOD ABOVE BESIDE AND IN ALL
A GOD FAMILY that will consist of gazillions loving each other for the rest of eternity
Jesus may not have said the exact sentence "I am God" but he did claim the divine name for himself (Exo. 3:14 withJohn 8:58) and he also received worship (Matt. 2:2; 14:33; 28:9; John 9:35-38).
When Moses was up at the Mount speaking to God, Moses asked God what his name was. God said, "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, 'Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel,' 'I AM has sent me to you,' (Exodus 3:14). In John 8:58 Jesus said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am." Right after this the Jews picked up stones to throw at him. Later, in John 10:30-33 Jesus claimed to be one with the Father and the Jews wanted to stone him again because they said to Jesus, "You, being a man, make yourself out to be God." Jesus had claimed the divine name for his own and the Jews wanted to kill him for it. Therefore, from Jesus' own mouth we see that he was claiming to be God.
The words "I am"
Now please understand that anyone can say the words "I am" and it does not mean that he is claiming to be God. Someone could say, "I am over here." That is not claiming the divine name. Likewise, someone could say, "I am hungry," or "I am sick." Neither example is claiming divinity, because the use of the term "I am" in context clearly shows us that is not what is occurring. But, in John 8:58 when Jesus said "before Abraham was born, I am," the Jews knew exactly what he was saying. Notice that he says before Abraham was born (using the past tense) and then he switches to the present tense when he says "I am." Jesus switches tenses of the verbs on purpose so that when he does so in the context of referencing Abraham, Jesus is clearly drawing the Jews' attention to the Old Testament Scriptures and then using a present tense form of the verb "to be" by saying "I AM". Someone who says "I am hungry" is not drawing attention to the Old Testament Scriptures for context.
Jesus was clearly causing the Jews to reflect upon the divine name "I am" that Jesus used for himself. We know that they understood this because as is said above, they said, "You, being a man, make yourself out to be God," (John 10:33).
The Muslims agree with the Jews
But what is noteworthy is that the Jews, like the Muslims, deny that Jesus is God in flesh. Therefore, the Muslims are united with the Jewish people in denying who Jesus claimed to be, the "I am."
Conclusion
It is not necessary that Jesus say a certain phrase in order for the truth of who he is to be made clear. The issue is not if he speaks a certain sentence that we construct in present terms in order to satisfy our theological demands. The issue is what did Jesus say in the context and culture of the time in which he spoke.
Finally, we know that Jesus is God in flesh because the Bible tells us so.
Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee, who thou art, the Holy One of God!” Luke 4: 34
Who can destroy demons ?
