The news had a special bulletin on the passing away of Micheal Jackson...

"...Pop icon Michael Jackson died Thursday after being rushed to the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest. Jackson, 50, was taken from his Los Angeles home to UCLA Medical Center where doctors worked for more than an hour to try to resuscitate him,..."

..yet other than a few songs, what will he be remembered for, with so much promise in youth what did he do with the talent he had, with so much influence and money what did he accomplish?

Yes He hung around sinners who felt their need of Him. Funny that He did not hang around the religious authorities of His day. I wonder why? do you know?
The bottom line Gabriel is that we need every ray of light that God sends us. If we close our eyes to the light we are no better than bigots and hypocrites and we will have to give an account of the influence we have on others.

By the way, this info was emailed to me. I'm not really interested in looking into this. But I thought it was interesting so I added it to the duscussion just to show how rediculous this whole thing is.
Culturally he broke down the racial doors of MTV, the station focused almost exclusively on white artistes and ignored the black ones until Michael Jackson came along. Sure he was a messed up human being with major issues, like so many of us are, yet most of us did not have to live in the spotlight from the age 8 like he was forced to. Whatever his ultimate eternal outcome I leave that to God and focus on my own problems.
