The news had a special bulletin on the passing away of Micheal Jackson...

"...Pop icon Michael Jackson died Thursday after being rushed to the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest. Jackson, 50, was taken from his Los Angeles home to UCLA Medical Center where doctors worked for more than an hour to try to resuscitate him,..."

..yet other than a few songs, what will he be remembered for, with so much promise in youth what did he do with the talent he had, with so much influence and money what did he accomplish?

have you seen this picture? it hung over his bed at the neverland mansion.

He gave millions to charities. everyone who met him said he was a kind, gentle person.
a man who was delusional.
when we no longer have a moral compass, there are no bounds, no limits to the lies we start to believe. he was fed even more lies by those who made money off him. so heartbreaking and sad.

II Thessalonians 2:10 " And with all delusion of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

i pray that every day all of us who know the Lord uphold our duty to tell others of Him by witnessing with our whole life.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. -Philippians 4:8

I cannot recall hearing about any human being dead or alive giving their hearts to God through Michael's music, performance or lifestyles. His music has never glorified the God who made the Heavens and the earth. Michael's life was controlled by the prince of darkness, who's ultimate purpose is to deter men and women from knowing the true God, and he doesn't care who or what he has to use to do that.

Christ died so that all men may have life, but the truth is this, many will not accept God's gift of Love. We have to chose our final destination be it eternal life or eternal death that choice is made according to whom we yield lives. Nobody can decide for anyone, we each must choose.

Mark 8:36 says For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Michael had accomplished everything this world has to offer yet on the day that he died, his accomplishments could not save his life. There is a message in his death for all of us, seek first the kingdom of God and all God's righteousness and all these things shall be added unto us.
I know exactly what you are saying Gabriel,,, you are teaching that we are sinners and that we will always sin even until Christ comes,,,, that we cannot overcome as Jesus overcame,,, Those who teach this become guilty of lowering God's standard. Of course we are all sinners and we all have come short but what we desperately need to understand is that the Scriptures clearly teach that God will have a remnant of people in these last days who will have the faith of Jesus and by that working faith which works by the love of God shed abroad in their hearts, it will be demonstrated once and for all that human beings can overcome as Jesus did. Of course they will not be able to equal the Pattern but they will copy it. They will copy the Pattern through the grace which will enable them to be "more than conquerors." Rom.8:37.

Rodriquez, you and others have been talking like unbelievers. In fact the majority of those who profess to be followers of Christ are unbelievers. Anyone here professing to be an Advent believer, and who does not believe that by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (which is exceedingly abundant with faith and love, 1 Tim.1:14) he may be kept from every evil work and be made more than a conqueror over sin cannot exercise the faith which is essential at this time or to occupy the position which God designs him to fill.

"Awake to righteousness and do not sin. For some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame." 1 Cor..15:34.

You are so right Gabe. All humans sin till the day they die. It has been that way for all Bible greats. There is no new requirement for the end time people. Each of us have to depend upon the grace of God for our salvation. Not our works.
so, a trillion years before this planet was formed He saw your unbelief and decided that He would take you in His kingdom anyway? is that what u mean buddy? :)

Once saved, always saved?

There are those among us who are the counterpart of the Egyptians who followed the Israelites in the wilderness of sin. These were the instigators in the rebellion. They were the first to murmur and to doubt God and Moses.

To be an Adventist in the fullest sense of the word in these last days is to believe implicitly that not only is it possible to live without sinning but that God will have a people who will demonstrate that very thing before Jesus can return.

Isn't it interesting that the following promise was sent to Laodicea:

"To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne." Rev.3:21..

"In Christ dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. This is why, although He was tempted in all points like as we are, He stood before the world, from His first entrance into it, untainted by corruption, though surrounded by it. Are we not also to become partakers of that fullness, and is it not thus and thus only that we can overcome as He overcame?" E.G. White, Bible Commentary, Vol.7a, 351.

Those who keep saying that we will sin until Jesus comes will in fact sin until He comes and they will be lost. How can we ever become "more than conquerors" if we do not believe it is possible to overcome sin? Did Christ die in vain? Have you received the grace of God in vain? The Bible says, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you." Gal.6:18. What did that grace do in Jesus of Nazareth? did it not make him more than conqueror? Yes. So it may be with us.

"His experience is to be ours." D.A.363.

"There was in Him nothing that responded to Satan's sophistry. He did not consent to sin. Not even by a thought did He yield to temptation. So it may be with us. Christ's humanity was united with divinity; He was fitted for the conflict by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. And He came to make us partakers of the divine nature So long as we are united to Him by faith, sin has no more dominion over us. God reaches for the hand of faith in us to direct it to lay hold upon the divinity of Christ, that we may attain to perfection of character." D.A.123.

"Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His church. When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own." C.O.L.69.

"As the members of the body of Christ approach the period of their last conflict, 'the time of Jacob's trouble,' they will grow up into Christ, and will partake largely of His Spirit." 1 T 353.]

"As the dew and the rain are given first to cause the seed to germinate, and then to ripen the harvest, so the Holy Spirit is given to carry forward, from one stage to another, the process of spiritual growth. The ripening of the grain represents the completion of the work of God's grace in the soul. By the power of the Holy Spirit the moral image of God is to be perfected in the character. We are to be wholly transformed into the likeness of Christ. The latter rain, ripening earthls harvest, represents the spiritual grace that prepares the church for the coming of the Son of man. But unless the former rain has fallen, there will be no life; the green blade will not spring up. Unless the early showers have done their work, the latter rain can bring no seed to perfection. There is to be 'first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.'" Testimonies to Ministers, 506.

See Mark 4:26-28.

He was one sick and troubled man. And there's no drugs that will help that.
There's enough gold on his casket to feed at least half of the starving children in China.
The children in China are not starving cos MJ had a gold casket, if he had no casket they would still starve, there are starving kids in the USA but guess what a political system that glorifes the ' look after yourself' attitude and consider the state giving a helping hand as socialism will keep such a problem going.
this money he gave to charities was "blood' money, do u know what that means Gabriel?

I would even dare to say that this money is an "abomination" to God, for it was money offered on Satan's altar.

The Hollywood scene is a Satanic snare that very few escape. It has been said that in order to excel in Hollywood one must sell their soul to the devil. While that may not always be the case, it is true that many have made deals with the devil for the fortunes and fame that the entertainment industry offers. Was that the case with Michael Jackson?, who can know for sure. But I find it interesting that, as someone mentioned, he had a video of himself communicating with a demon.

It has been said over and over that we shouldn't judge motives, and that is certainly true. But we must judge fruit. Or else how would we to know who is safe for us to associate with? Or who to listen to?

Romans 14:13
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

It is our duty to be watchmen for our brethren. If something could cause others to fall we must be there to warn them.

2 Timothy 3:2-5
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

We are told to "turn away" from such people. That does not mean that we cannot try to lead them to Christ, but we should not seek their company. It is our duty to let other people know if the are taking a path that could lead to destruction. Seeing that this is my duty I warn you all to not be fans of the late M. Jackson. His fruits revealed his character, and by us listening to his music or watching his videos we are putting ourselves in the enemy's territory unguarded.

I was a small child when I first heard Micheal Jackson's music. The first song I remember hearing as a child was called "Bad". My dad, who is not a Christian, played it for me one night. The lyrics exclaim, "You know I'm bad, I'm bad, c'mon you know." Afterwords he tucked me into bed and I looked up at him. "Dad, why is he bad?" That song left an impressin on my young mind. I felt so sorry for him. Never had I heard anyone proclaim themself as being bad, and singing about it as if it was something cool to be bad. To me, it was bad to be bad. "You know, I'm bad"! Those are the words from Michael Jackson himself. And if you didn't know that he was bad, he openly told you so that you would know. In this world, bad is good and good is bad, just as predicted by the prophet.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Although he proclaimed himself as being bad, it is said by many on here that he also did some good by giving to charities. That is a sign that God was still working on his heart.

Philippians 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Anything done that is good is from God. The fact that Micheal Jackson did some things that were good, gives evidence that God still had a place in his heart. Only God knows the final thoughts and decisions Michael made.
It is next to impossible to fathom the sick sentimentalism people have for Michael Jackson, even from those who profess to be the true followers of Christ. Jesus who was the way, the truth, and the life, and who did nothing but good only received evil for all the good that He did. Now Michael Jackson did nothing but evil and yet the whole world, even some among those who profess to believe present truth, are doing nothing but trying to find some good in him.

As a people we have truly lost our bearings.

*And those who insist on attributing good or some righteousness to him forget the words of the prophet Ezekiel chapter 18:24.
