My Memory Verses today

Eph. 4:29-32

 

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

 

And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

 

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

 

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

 

Anyone else have a special passage or verse to remember today?

JEREMIAH 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

I love this verse because it reassures me that God created me for a purpose and that I am precious in His eyes.This has been an especially helpful verse as I am figuring out what to do with my life (decisions to make, career to choose). I know that I was made to prosper and glorify God in everything i do! Cause He deserves everything I have! =)

This one helps me when things seem to always go wrong.  I know from this verse that if I keep turning to Him, He has it all under control and I have nothing to worry about.  I should read this more often so that it sinks into my head!

   "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

   Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your should delight itself in fatness.

   Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

   Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

   Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

   So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

   For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.  Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off."  Is. 55

Good call Sarah :).  I'm not going to type out the entire chapter, but check out Lev. 26.  It's really impacted my life lately and honestly, God keeps the promises in this chapter.  It's truly a blessing to watch Him do what He does.  God bless and have a great Sabbath!
