Permalink Reply by Quacinda Jodyne Topkok on December 30, 2011 at 3:42pm I would say .. do whatever you can to put yourself in the path of others, esp non-Christian or non-sda, who knows when they may become interested with a thought to discuss some aspect of your life or religion? Who knows if they may throw out there some flippant question that can be a lead to discuss your [moral] values? or Biblical truths?
My brother the New Year, does not start until the Spring according to the Bible.
Rome placed IT"S new year on Jan 1.
The Day starts at SUNSET. So those who wait until midnight are several hours too late......

Permalink Reply by Man Flower Glow on January 12, 2012 at 6:27pm we go from day to day to work with the world
its monday from midnight to midnight regarding work hours and events and tv shows/debates(republican endless debates in USA)/movies/sports /doctors appointments/weddings/store special sales/others birthdays/elections.. ect
even when we have a get together at church on saturday night it is not listed SUNDAY[nor sundays date] on the bulletin so get real!
as Sabbathkeepers the details of keeping and when to keep a specific day are different from the rest of the world
everything else in our lives depend on others/state/commerce/employment/wills ect who dont recognize the even to even is a new day.
so this is too weird to see and not reality
