Present Truth
The Bible says,
*2Peter 1:12---"Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth."
SOP says,
"There are many precious truths contained in the Word of God, but it is “present truth” that the flock needs now. I have seen the danger of the messengers running off from the important points of present truth, to dwell upon subjects that are not calculated to unite the flock and sanctify the soul. Satan will here take every possible advantage to injure the cause. But such subjects as the sanctuary, in connection with the 2300 days, the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, are perfectly calculated to explain the past Advent movement and show what our present position is, establish the faith of the doubting, and give certainty to the glorious future. These, I have frequently seen, were the principal subjects on which the messengers should dwell. {EW 63.2}
“The Lord desires that every soul who claims to believe the truth shall have an intelligent knowledge of what is truth...and searching for the strong evidences that sustain the fundamental doctrines that have brought us where we now are, upon the platform of eternal truth. {Evangelism, page 363.3}"
"There was a present truth in the days of Luther,—a truth at that time of special importance; there is a present truth for the church today. {GC 143}"
...The question is: Are our pastors preaching the "Present Truth" for this time???
And what IS the "Present Truth" for this time???

According to Revelation 14, the 144,000 are the group of people that are privileged to give the 3 Angels Message in the Loud Cry. Read the entire chapter of Revelation 14.
Ellen White says that the people who give the Loud Cry are those whose faces will be lighted up with the glory of God.
"As the third angel’s message swells into a loud cry, great power and glory will attend its proclamation. The faces of God’s people will shine with the light of heaven." {7T 17}
"The one hundred and forty-four thousand triumphed. Their faces were lighted up with the glory of God." {CET 100.3}
...Here she tells us that it will be the 144,000 that will have their faces lighted up with the glory of God to give the Loud Cry!
It is clear from the Bible & SOP!

Here is another SOP referring to the 144,000.
"Why were they [the 144,000] so specially singled out? Because they had to stand with a wonderful truth right before the whole world, and receive their opposition, and while receiving this opposition they were to remember that they were sons and daughters of God, that they must have Christ formed within them the hope of glory. They were ever keeping in view the great and blessed hope that is before them. What is it? It is an eternal weight of glory. Nothing could surpass it." {1SAT 72.3}
...Here we are told that the 144,000 have a wonderful truth that they must proclaim right before the world. That wonderful truth is the 3 Angels Message----The Loud Cry!

You are entreprated like that. There is no statement that sh is useing 144.000, it is your speculation.
Why were they so specially singled out? you is the one who are add to the words.

But like i said, we will soon see. This issue is not a salvational issue. I do not want to argue about it. Ellen White says that we will soon know all we need to know about the 144,000.
God will show us more about the 144,000 if we seek Him diligently in prayer & study as He leads us into more truth.
One thing is for sure. Only the SEALED SDA's will give the Loud Cry. We must seak to receive the Seal of God & the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Latter Rain).
I hope we all agree on this point.

This is true, we most me seal be seal an other for us to be able to give the Loud cry of the 3rd Angel.And no one knows the exact time the sealing is taking place for sure.That is the reason we have to be ready everyday now.

The questions & controversies over the 144,000 are not salvational issues.
We will soon find out what we need to know about the 144,000 if we are apart of that number. We are told to strive to be apart of that number.
One thing is for sure that I believe we all agree on: is that we must ALL be seeking to receive the Seal of God.
"Not one of us will ever receive the seal of God while our characters have one spot or stain upon them. It is left with us to remedy the defects in our characters, to cleanse the soul temple of every defilement. Then the latter rain will fall upon us as the early rain fell upon the disciples on the Day of Pentecost." {5T 214.2}

Good point. The only knowledge we need for salvation is to accept the blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins.

DMJ,i just to clarify that the Loud Cry will be preached by 1000s of our SDA members,even children will give the Loud Cry.But it is among those who gave the Loud Cry that a final selection of 144000 will be made.God bless.

Amen to that,but keep in my this special truth has been reaviled since 1844,but by the power of the Later Rain and the power of the 4th Angel,this special message which is the 3rd Angel message shall be closed in a Loud Cry.May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ choose us,if it is his will to preach the Final warning in the Loud Cry to this perishing world.,which could come anytime now.

According to Victor Houteff. Are you saying that our pioneers and Ellen White were wrong and Victor Houteff correct in this issue?
I have to point out yet again that SDAs have to be tried, not by the passing of some law, but by the trials and persecutions that law brings. According to Jesus Himself,
Mat_10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
What you are proposing does away with that and says that he who endures at the passing of the Sunday law....
