As SDA we have some fundamentals: The second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the church, the grand climax of the gospel. The Saviour's coming will be literal, personal, visible, and worldwide. When He returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected, and together with the righteous living will be glorified and taken to heaven, but the unrighteous will die. The almost complete fulfillment of most lines of prophecy, together with the present condition of the world, indicates that Christ's coming is imminent. The time of that event has not been revealed, and we are therefore exhorted to be ready at all times.—Fundamental Beliefs, 24

Maranata Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

They also which pierced him” those that mocked and derided Christ’s dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of His truth and His people, are raised to behold Him in His glory and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient. At Jesus trial, Caiaphas, raising his right hand toward heaven, addressed Jesus in the form of a solemn oath: “I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.” Jesus replied “Thou hast said.” “Nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven.”

For a moment the divinity of Christ flashed through His guise of humanity. Caiaphas Rending his robe, he demanded that the prisoner be condemned for blasphemy. “What further need have we of witnesses?” he said; “behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. What think ye?” And they all condemned Him. Thus the Jewish leaders made their choice. Their decision was registered in the book of heaven. When Christ comes the second time, not as a prisoner surrounded by a rabble will they see Him. They will see Him as heaven’s King. Then the priests and rulers will remember distinctly the scene in the judgment hall. Every circumstance will appear before them as if written in letters of fire.

No human language can portray the scenes of the second coming of the Son of man in the clouds of heaven. He is to come with His own glory, and with the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. He will come clad in the robe of light, which He has worn from the days of eternity. Angels will accompany Him. Ten thousand times ten thousand will escort Him on His way. The sound of the trumpet will be heard, calling the sleeping dead from the grave. The voice of Christ will penetrate the tomb, and pierce the ears of the dead, “and all that are in the graves shall come forth.”

Before the foundations of the earth were laid, the Father and the Son had united in a covenant to redeem man if he should be overcome by Satan. They had clasped Their hands in a solemn pledge that Christ should become the surety for the human race. This pledge Christ has fulfilled. When upon the cross He cried out, “It is finished,”

The second coming of Christ is the fundamental belief that gives all the Christian religion its meaning. It is the event that ultimately fulfills all the dreams and hopes of humankind. However distant in time the Creation of the world (our beginning) is from the second coming of Jesus (our end, at least the end of this sinful existence), these events are linked.

The God who created us (John 1:1-3) “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” He is the same God who will return and, in an instant, “in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet” (1 Cor. 15:52, NKJV), will bring about our ultimate redemption. In our beginning, indeed, we find our end.

Just before the second coming there will be a great religious awakening. The book of Revelation reveals the rise of a great, worldwide religious movement before the Second Advent. In John's vision we see the 3 Angels proclaiming their Messages and those are going on at this particular time. And finally we have The Loud Cry in Revelation 18 And as far as I understand that is the absolutely last message from God to reach those who still are in Babylon.

1 We will see an Increase of Wickedness. A revival of the Papacy have led to a growing neglect of God's law in Christendom and in the lives of believers.

2 An Surge and Increase World Crime. Government leaders pilfering the public purse, corruption in banking and what was once trusted financial institutions

3 The Sexual Revolution. Where there is total Disregard for God's law.

4 Wars at the moment we have a powder-keg situation in Syria as well as in Korea

5 Natural disasters. Tsunamis earthquakes volcanoes Global warming with attending weather like cyclones and the like, and raising sea levels. And extreme heat waves.

6 Famines where we see an increasing scale of starvation and food insecurity.

7 False prophets indeed we have one person living close to here that claims he is Jesus. Although it is easy to spot him as a fake it's somewhat like trying to pass a monopoly bill as a real one.

8 Pestilence. E-bola is raring it ugly head again, last time it almost got out of control.

Take your bearings from there

Death can come at any moment so whether you see HIM in the  clouds or die suddenly, be ready.

No one knows when God will be coming nor does one know when they will die therefore, daily we are to live of holiness each day as thou it is our last day.
