Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh ... nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:28

Your body is the Temple of God. Why would you want to tag it? Would you tag the side of your church?

We realize this Tattoo subject has been talked about a 100 times but so has most these other forums that repeat themselves over and over.
I KNOW MANY WOMEN, INCLUDING SDA´S, WHO TATOO THEIR EYEBROWS FOR MANY REASONS... IS IT OK OR IT´S WRONG?
If it helps their looks ... I would say it's okay. But if it makes them look ugly ... I would say no.
Dear Atul,

I have nothing against tattoo as well. My co-worker has a tiny tattoo of a cross on wrist, and it works for him :-) I would not get one myself, but once you got it, maybe you can use it to motivate you.
Just goes to show that those pagans own most everything. Yeah. If we let them own it.
which more sinner? have a tattoos in whole ur body or you have a hiding lies, illegitimate? Why there are many people who can only judge someone from the outside, just because they have their tattoos on the man regarded as the most sinful. They not realize they have hidden sin in which only them and God knows.

I am not saying that having a tattoo is the right thing. I just wanted to remind all of us to look at ourselves whether we are clean from sin? Especially stay away from those we love just because he/she has a tattoo. Thank you and happy sabbath :)
This is only my opinion...
Dont we judge each other because the judgments that only God can do
"Would you tag the side of your church?"

Yes. My church is tagged. We have the name Seventh day Adventist Church on the side of our church. We also have tagged it with stain glass windows which protray many Bible scenes. Do you suppose it is okay to tattoo you body with Bible scenes?
I got one question for you; What part of "nor print any marks upon you" don't you understand? :>)

It may not be a salvation issue, but it is a relationship issue.
Anthony ... the issue is with the hidden dot dot dot .....

Here is the entire quote without the dot dot dot's :

Lev.19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I [am] the LORD.

What part of that don't you understand?
