The current lesson is about the Holy Spirit. Its direct trinitarian slant has brought up some animated discussions in some quarters. Here is the preface.

How does this new doctrine of the trinity harmonize with the pioneer view?

I understand, even though they may seem remote subjects, they are actually interconnected;

1. The loss of the sacred secrets as revealed to Paul by God during Paul's lifetime; in combination with Constantine 325 AD Council of Nicene;Jesus declared God and 380 AD
Council at Constantinople Holy Spirit declared God, with subsequent Catholic dogmas; these have lead to almost complete loss of the original primitive Christianity; many Christians cannot relate to Jesus because they think he is a God, thus how can we do greater works than God, as Jesus said we would do greater works.

2. The institutionalized errors in doctrine, practical application which all is contrary to being lead by the spirit, is antithesis to the one body of Christ and equality among the body of Christ. The pagan influence is so great, even to the architecture of churches, the corporate hierarchy of the churches even is contrary to the fellowship (sharing fully of the sacred secrets, even to financial matters as in Acts), all contrary to the one body.

The impact the paganism which is based on the original trinity of Nimrod, Samerimis (spelling?) and Tammuz the reborn Nimrod, is so profound, and destructive, it is astounding.
Who Jesus is has been confused and his accomplishment for us deminished, because if he was God, how hard is it for a God to do what he did. Jesus is our roll model, if he is God how can we be likened to God?

The denominational structures defy how the church was supposed to be organized, operated and functioning, which was all by walking by the spirit. We see that in the Book of Acts.

The 9 manifestations are integral part of the musterion (sacred secrets), not optional, but used to guide the body of Christ, inspire, edify, exhort, reproof and correct, teach, heal, protect and defend the body of Christ. The First Century Church had only the Old Testament in the beginning and onwards until the epistles etc. were given by Revelation. People forget it was by Word of knowledge, Word of Wisdom, and Discerning of spirits (listening to the voice of The Lord) that we got the written word via the spirit.

You can see these throughout the Word, as well as the other manifestations. The Old Testament 7 manifestations, 2 more added in New Testament.

Even evangelism or any function of the church is supposed to be by following the guidance of the Holy Spirit. These things are all inter-related.

The body of Christ is supposed to be guided by the head, Jesus Christ, who is head of the church, but The Father is above Jesus, because Jesus makes his enemies his foot stool, and then turns the Kingdom over to God!

The body of Christ is composed of all the believers, we are the building, filly joined together, not some physical building and organization. Also each believer has the same measure of Holy Spirit, none is greater than another all brothers and sisters, the family of God, and each believer has Christ in him (or her), no male or female, bond or free etc.

These are all deep things with profound effects by their being carried out, or in not being carried out.
Jesus Christ does not know when he is coming back, until his Father God gives him the command to return. So much for co-equal, three being one?
Dan, when somebody does the right thing, tells the truth irregardless of criticism etc., I think they should be commended. I apologize for including the manifestations, but they are an integral part of the body of Christ and how it is supposed to function by the spirit.

The man made organizations and their hierarchy and structure are contrary to the body of Christ and Christ being the head, and Christ being under God.

Just as the above shews the whole structure, so does the Trinity Doctrine, corrupting the relationship of the body of Christ into a false pagan hierarchy that no one can understand, but supposedly we must believe in.
Do you see any hierarchy in Revelation 1:1?

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Why is the Father always mentioned first?

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Was Paul crazy?

THANK YOU JAMES, AS ALWAYS, WELL SAID.  SOME IN THE SDA PRACTICE IDOLATRY OF THE SABBATH DAY.  SAME ERROR WAS MADE BY THE JEWS.  AND TO POINT OUT WHAT JAMES SAID, NOTHING WRONG TO ATTEND CHURCH SERVICES ON SATURDAYS, IN HONOR TO GOD AND AS A MEMORIAL TO HIS CREATION, BUT TO THINK THAT IT IS A CONDITION OF SALVATION IS ERROR.

At this present time, the Sabbath is not a condition of salvation that is true. But we do not keep the Sabbath to be saved, do we? 

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
 

We Keep the Sabbath as a sign to God that we respect and fear Him and show our loyalty to Him in keeping the day that God commanded us to Keep Holy. God made it Holy we should keep it Holy. Did God make any other day Holy?

Thank you for your clarification, that was why I asked whose definition you were using. The Roman Catholic doctrine of the trinity is not the same as the SDA doctrine.

ITS STILL 3 GODS IN ONE;

That reminds me of the old Certs commercial. 

Chhheeeaa, Chheeeaa (slapping sound effect twice) Certs is a breath mint and a candy mint.

Instead:

Chheeaa, Chheeaa, Chheeaa; Three, Three, Three Gods In One. That was an old Unitarian joke.

The SDA doctrine does not teach 3 gods in 1.

I think the belief is one God in three persons, not three gods in one person.

Since according to trinity doctrine all three are co-equal, equally God, the equation = sign goes both directions; 3 = 1, 1 = 3 (3 in 1). But 3 in math or in logic, or three in scripture, or three persons so called can never actually be one. The truth is God is the Creator, who begotten his Son, Jesus Christ who is the fSon of God, the Holy Spirit is the gift of God. No where do I find the gift of God being declared a person in scripture or in manifestation by inspiration of tongues with interpretation or by prophesy, and that's with 42 years of word reading and hearing and doing prophesy and interpretation thousands upon thousands of times.

From your response you obviously do not believe that there are three persons in the Godhead, so I suppose you will have a problem with any definition that incorporates three distinct persons. The SDA position (which is the subject of this thread) can be summed up this way:

"The Father is all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and is invisible to mortal sight.

The Son is all the fullness of the Godhead manifested. The Word of God declares Him to be “the express image of His person.” “God so loved the world, that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Here is shown the personality of the Father.

The Comforter that Christ promised to send after He ascended to heaven, is the Spirit in all the fullness of the Godhead, making manifest the power of divine grace to all who receive and believe in Christ as a personal Saviour. There are three living persons of the heavenly trio; in the name of these three great powers—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—those who receive Christ by living faith are baptized, and these powers will co-operate with the obedient subjects of heaven in their efforts to live the new life in Christ."
