Can somebody show me why Creation calendar is the ONLY one that is luni-solar based ?
Ge 1:14 ¶ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs "mow'ed" , and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
My understanding is the SUN (greater light) rules the time for DAY, SEASONS and the YEAR.
The moon (lesser light) rules the night times and gives us only a time for months. When do we need a month as a package of time for ? Nothing that I can think of in a practical way, except that the month, is a symbol of darkness and thus sinning, and the month is a symbol of redemption and appointed times to remember our redemption.
The WEEK is a time not regulated by the SUN or MOON, the day of the week is regulated only by counting. The week is a symbol of God's power over mankind, He's mark of power....
Study the symbolism of the moon, the rulers over darkness, and see the redemption symbolism there, I can't see how the Creation calender is based on the sun and moon.....and than say the Gregorian is only based on the sun only.... of course people who don't believe in salvation will not see the month as a memorial of redemption, so please let's stop nit picking on our BIbles....Time has always been based on COUNTING, on Sun times and on Moon times, all three systems are necessary to calculate the times of the day of the week, the day, the month and the year.....

''The moon was appointed for seasons''
Where do you read that the sun rules the seasons? Are you not contradicting the Word itself?

It sounds like a lot of speculations! Have you not read Patriarchs and Prophets chapter 52. Also, research the Millerites and the way they came up with October 22, 1844. Unless like many, you do not agree with that important date. The only way October 22 can be the 10th of the 7th month, is by using the Luni-Solar Barley Harvest Calendation. There is no other way: Gregorian calendation reckoning will not do because October 22 is the 10th month on the 22, not the 7th month on the 10th.
October 22, 1844 = 10th of the 7th month only by using Luni-Solar calendation reckoning.
10/22/1844 not 7/10

If there is speculation involved, it is only by you and other proponents of the lunar sabbath. You speculate that just because the lunar calendar is used in the Bible to calculate feast days, that it is also used to calculate the Seventh-day Sabbath. Nothing could be further from the truth. This has been demonstrated time and time again.
You quote Ellen G. White, I suppose to gain some level of legitimacy among Adventists, but you do not believe her. She clearly refutes your position yet you ignore that:
"We are now keeping the seventh day,--the very day God has told us to keep,--and are here assembled on it for religious worship. The papacy has brought in another day, a common working day, and established it in opposition to the Sabbath of the Lord. This he has done so that men shall not see or understand what are the sacred claims of God resting upon them. Well, what are we to do about it? Are we going to let the enemy make us captives, so that we shall not pay respect and reverence to God's holy day? Notwithstanding the fact that nearly the whole Protestant world have taken this child of the papacy, and cradled and nursed it, and given it prominence, it is our privilege and duty to keep holy the Sabbath of Jehovah." -Ellen G. White - Review & Herald, December 18, 1888

The feast days and the Ten Commandments are handled differently.
I can not find any Biblical support for the Fourth Commandment to be based on a luni-solar calender.
God Bless, Alex.
I am so sorry Brother in Yehushua but there is a calendar and you need to worship on the correct Sabbath no the day that is made to worship the God of Saturn Saturday! Here is the evidence in the Bible:
Scriptures pointing specifically to the 8th day of the month in the biblical calendar (When referring to the days in the month, the 8th day is the first 7th day Sabbath of each month in the biblical calendar)
(Exo 22:30) Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
(Lev 9:1) And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;
(Lev 14:10) "On the eighth day they must bring two male lambs and one ewe lamb a year old, each without defect, along with three-tenths of an ephaht of the finest flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, and one logt of oil.
(Lev 14:23) And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.
(Lev 15:14) And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
(Lev 15:29) And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
(Lev 22:27) When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
(Lev 23:36) Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
(Lev 23:39) Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
(Num 6:10) And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
(Num 29:35) On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein:
(1Ki 8:66) On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
(2Ch 7:9) On the eighth day they held an assembly, for they had celebrated the dedication of the altar for seven days and the festival for seven days more.
(2Ch 29:17) Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD: so they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.
(Neh 8:18) Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.
(Eze 43:27) And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
Scriptures that point specifically to the 15th day of the month in the biblical calendar. (When referring to days of the month, the 15th day is the second 7th day Sabbath of each month in the biblical calendar)
(Exo 16:1) And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
(Lev 23:6) And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
(Lev 23:34) Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
(Lev 23:39) Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
(Num 28:17) And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.
(Num 29:12) And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days:
(Num 33:3) And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians. (Passover is the 14th)
(Est 9:18) But the Jews that were at Shushan assembled together on the thirteenth day thereof, and on the fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth day of the same they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.
(Est 9:21) To stablish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly,( as the time when the Jews got relief from their enemies, and as the month when their sorrow was turned into joy and their mourning into a day of celebration. He wrote them to observe the days as days of feasting and joy and giving presents of food to one another and gifts to the poor.)
(Eze 32:17) It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying…
(Eze 45:25) In the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, shall he do the like in the feast of the seven days, according to the sin offering, according to the burnt offering, and according to the meat offering, and according to the oil.
God, through the Holy Spirit, is preparing to restore His church to the biblical principles found
in the Judaic contours of its formative years. The way it will happen is not by an "outpouring"
of the Holy Spirit alone but through a Word of God revival.
Here is the promise of God:
"My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distill as the dew, as the small rain upon
the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: (Deut 32:2).
The latter rain will be a rain of truth. If the Church needs anything today, it needs the
following: ". . . the washing of water by the word." (Eph 5:25-26)
Feast of the New Moon (First day of each biblical month)
Psa 81:3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast
day.
Psa 81:4 For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.
Lev 23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Lev 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the
LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
Appointed Time of the 7th Day Sabbath
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on
the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested
from all his work which God created and made.
Lev 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy
convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
Lev 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in
their seasons.
NOTE: The word "rested" in Gen 2:2 and the word "celebrate" in Lev 23:32 are the same word,
H7673, "shabath" (This seems to infer a special relationship or connection between the 7th day
Sabbath and the Day of Atonement Sabbath)
Memorial of Passover (1st Month)
Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S Passover.
Feast of Unleavened Bread (1st Month)
Lev 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the
LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
Lev 23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Lev 23:8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh
day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Lev 23:9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Feast of First Fruits
Wave Sheaf (16th day 1st Month)
Lev 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the
land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Lev 23:12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
Lev 23:13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil,
an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall
be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.
Lev 23:14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame
day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout
your generations in all your dwellings.
Also in history you will see that the calendar we use today is not valid because it was made by man not ordained by our creator!
The Gregorian calendar, also known as the Western calendar or Christian calendar, is the internationally accepted civil calendar. It was introduced by Pope Gregory XIII, after whom the calendar was named, by a decree signed on 24 February 1582, a papal bull known by its opening words Inter gravissimas.[4] The reformed calendar was adopted later that year by a handful of countries, with other countries adopting it over the following centuries. The motivation for the Gregorian reform was that the Julian calendar assumes that the time between vernal equinoxes is 365.25 days, when in fact it is presently almost exactly 11 minutes shorter. The error between these values accumulated at the rate of about three days every four centuries, resulting in the equinox occurring on March 11 (an accumulated error of about 10 days) and moving steadily earlier in the Julian calendar at the time of the Gregorian reform. Since the spring equinox was tied to the celebration of Easter, the Roman Catholic Church considered that this steady movement in the date of the equinox was undesirable.
You can see that we got the calender from a Roman Pope and he got it from Julias Caesar, a man who considered himself a God! We were warned that a change would happen like this in Daniel 7:25:“He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time.” So with that said, look at scripture and think about the words “change time and law”. Well, they accomplished it because “time” means days and “law” means the commandments. They broke the Law and Time by changing the order of the calendar from its original format given at creation and to Moses on Mount Sinai!
Now that we know how we got the calendar, let’s see why we believe in our Seventh-day Sabbath to be “Saturday” and what do the days of the week mean…
The names of the days of the week from the Roman period have been both named after the seven planets of classical astronomy and numbered, beginning with Sunday. In Slavic languages, a numbering system was adopted, but beginning with Monday. There was an even older tradition of names in Ancient Indian Astrology which could arguably be the origin of all these naming systems. All of these systems have been adopted in many languages, with some exceptions resulting from a number of religious and secular considerations.

Weekday heptagram
The order of the week days can be derived "geometrically" from an acute heptagram, the {7/3} star polygon (as 24 mod 7 = 3). The luminaries are arranged in the same Ptolemaic/Stoic order around the points of the heptagram. Tracing the unicursal line from one planet to the next gives the order of the weekdays. This weekday heptagram is a development of Hellenistic astrology, and probably dates to the Roman era.[1]Between the 1st and 3rd centuries the Roman Empire gradually replaced the eight day Roman nundinal cycle with the seven-day week. The astrological order of the days was explained by Vettius Valens and Dio Cassius (and Chaucer gave the same explanation in his Treatise on the Astrolabe). According to these authors, it was a principle of astrology that the heavenly bodies presided, in succession, over the hours of the day. The Ptolemaic system asserts that the order of the heavenly bodies, from the farthest to the closest to the Earth, is: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus,Mercury, Moon. (This order was first established by the Greek Stoics.) In astrological theory, not only the days of the week, but the hours of the day are dominated by the seven luminaries. If the first hour of a day is dominated by Saturn (), then the second hour is dominated by Jupiter (), the third by Mars (), and so on with the Sun (), Venus (), Mercury (), and the moon (), so that the sequence of planets repeats every seven hours. Therefore, the twenty-fifth hour, which is the first hour of the following day, is dominated by the Sun; the forty-ninth hour, which is the first hour of the next day, by the Moon. Thus, if a day is labeled by the planet which dominates its first hour, then Saturn's day is followed by the Sun's day, which is followed by the Moon's day, and so forth..
The Hebrew word "moade or moadim", it means "an appointed time, a festival."
Now, I hope you understand that we are not worshiping Yeshua or his Father on his day because the calender was man-made that we have today. God gave us a calender so, and let’s learn how to use his calender and find proof in scripture that there was such a calender.
I will show you proof according to Exodus and with our Savior Yeshua that they days that were worshiped were the same and since Yeshua himself said that two testimonies’ made a statement valid, then that will be your proof to see if this light is true.
God provided at Creation a built-in, ever present, always accurate clock/calendar to measure time and clearly designate the work days from the worship days. In order to worship God on the day He appointed, people must be able to understand how God’s clock/calendar works to know which day is number one, the starting point for counting the six days to work, with worship on the seventh. The calendar God established at Creation was kept by the Jews until well into the 4th century A.D. Many say that the Jews have never lost track of the true Sabbath. That is false! The Jews themselves did away with their God-ordained calendar. After the destruction of Jerusalem and the dispersion of the Jewish people from their homeland, it became increasingly difficult, with the addition of their rabbinical regulations, to calculate a calendar tied to the barley harvest. Under intense persecution in the fourth century, the Jews themselves abandoned their barley-harvest regulation at which time a fixed, counterfeit 19-year cycle tied to the vernal equinox was established. The calendar they used before the counterfeit one was a luni-solar calendar with months lasting either 29 or 30 days. Each new month started with the first appearance of the crescent moon. The years did not have a continuous cycle of weeks but instead the weekly cycle started over with each new moon. New Moon day was a worship day followed by six working days, with the seventh-day Sabbath on the eighth of the month. And then three more weeks completed the month. Most people find this concept so different. At the very least, it is tempting to denounce it as wrong simply because it is so foreign to everything that as Seventh-day Adventists have ever heard, believed, or preached. We have come out of the church, so we know that there are many things that we didn’t learn from our once faithful church. However, there is scriptural, historical, astronomical and prophetic proof that this description of the original calendar is true.
Let me just begin with a quote from our prophet Ellen. White:
Different periods in the history of the church have each been marked by the development of some special truth, adapted to the necessities of God’s people at that time . . . The Lord gives a special truth for the people in an emergency. Who dare refuse to publish it? He commands His servants to
present the last invitation of mercy to the world. They cannot remain silent,
except at the peril of their souls. Christ’s ambassadors have nothing to do
with the consequences. They must perform their duty and leave the results
with God. Great Controversy, p. 609.
I will pray for you brother in Yehushua! You clearly need to study more in the Bible and prophecy...you can not rely on man to guide you to believe that the Saturday is the Sabbath. Is Saturday ever mentioned in the Bible as the Sabbath? No! You need to look into this topic and I recommend that you see these videos to see the precious truth in the Bible of our original calendar from creation.

Perhaps you need to look at the original names of the days and not focus on the English names. The Bible is very clear which day is the Sabbath. In English we call it Saturday - in Hebrew and Arabic (and many other languages) you will find that the name of the seventh day contains the number seven in the name.
Creation took six days and the seventh was the Sabbath. In Arabic, a language that I am familiar with, the first day of the week is called Day One and the seventh day is called Day Seven. Very simple.
A calendar does not define the week or the progression of the days. Rather, a calendar "numbers" the days of the month. The calendar, any calendar has no effect whatsoever on the progression of the days. That is not the purpose of a calendar. The day that we call Saturday was created by God at creation and was set aside by Him as a day to withdraw from the world and worship.
Think very carefully before you teach others to break one of God's Commandments, there is a very serious warning as to the fate of people who do that.
I did prove that the Sabbath can be shown in scripture and the Lord himself kept the same sabbaths that they kept in the old testament. You should go through your Bible and see that the template is in there for us to learn from it! Again:
Scriptures pointing specifically to the 8th day of the month in the biblical calendar (When referring to the days in the month, the 8th day is the first 7th day Sabbath of each month in the biblical calendar)
