The media is awful, probably 90% of the time. Pop-culture is social-engineering. And the tv is always on in some places making it difficult to have a conversation!
Glad you can see through the media hype! If only more could. there are 500 tv channels keeping most everyone entertained to death. No time for God!

So true, I realize that just being in silence or getting up from watching tv to go for a walk... releases some form of burden and gives peace of mind. It's like you can sense its wasting your time!

So true, a great post but few posts....
TV is a hypnotic effect caused by interleaving images over one another....Most pictures scan one picture, and to save bandwidth, the TV moves the second picture slightly to scan the same picture again. so each 1/50 of a second you really get one picture of quality, but its shown twice to save bandwidth. In USA the speed of interleaving is 1/60 I think. Now if you place a different picture in between the interleaving frame, you can make the conscious see something the eye can't see, its cause image hypnotism
You can do the same thing with sound, you can play a sound wave forwards at a certain normal speed, anda over the sound with a different speed place another sound that is only heard played backwards. The subconscious hears the interweaved sound wave but the ear only hears the normal music. This effect is sound hypnotism. My brother and I played with this effect in taped cassette days, you reverse the rubber band on the drive wheel to make a figure 8 rather than the normal rubber drive figure 0, and the tape plays backards, put in the tape, play it backwards and you can hear the music dubbed there. It was interesting the dubbing in old music we thought was good and pure....
Interleaving images is supposed to be banned on commerical TV, but one wonders.....the technique was used in the 60's to get people to purchase a brand of laundry powder over another brand. People purchased one over the other without knowing really why. It was uncanny marketing.
The natural brain is sensitive to frequencies of sound, light and mircowave interference, and Satan takes advantage of this. THis is why interleaving is done at 1/50 and 1/60 of a second rather than some other speed.
Try this experiment, get a mobile phone and place it near your chest muscle, Get a person to push down on your arm outstretched while you push up against his pushing down. You feel strong, and you are. Now do the same thing with a person ringing you mobile phone (you don't have to answer the ringing), you find a 30% decrease in muscle strength when pushing upwards again a person pushing down you arm....mobile phones is a microwave slection designed to interfere with muscle frequency anad muscle strength....not to mention the micro wave does to the brain tissue...another story....
Its hard to avoid contamination from the carnal world isn't it ?
