Someone has presented the following as a Biblical base  to work from in establishing whether a Prophet or Prophet’s message is true or false? Biblical? Any other Biblical characteristics/tests to add to this list?

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of

God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 kjv

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1 Thess 5:21 kjv

 

Spiritual Test References  

  1. Speak according to God’s Word: Isa 8:20
  2. Loses all natural strength: Dan 10:8,16,17
  3. The predictions of the prophet come to pass: Jer 28:9
  4. Is supernaturally strengthened: Dan 10:18,19
  5. Point people to the true God: Deut 13:1-4, 1 Kings 18:21
  6. Encourage obedience to the Ten Commandments: 2 Chron 24:19,20; Rev 12:17
  7. Confess that Christ is come in the flesh: 1 John 4:2,3

 

Physical Test References

  1. Does not breathe: Dan 10:17
  2. Their work produces good fruit: Matt 7:15-20
  3. Speaks without breathing: Dan 10:17-20
  4. Tongue controlled by the Lord: 2 Sam 23:2
  5. Prepare people to meet the Lord: Luke 1:17
  6. Unconscious of natural surroundings: 2 Cor 12:2-4
  7. Have their eyes open: Num 24:3
