BACK IN THE 80'S, HINSDALE HOSPITAL CAFETERIA/GRILL, HAD THE BEST VEGGIE CUTLET EVER, IT WAS A BURGER STYLE SANDWICH WITH A BREADED CUTLET.

NO, THEY NO LONGER HAVE IT, BUT YOU CAN GET A REAL MEAT.   LOL.   GO FIGURE.

I really like boiled peanuts, cajun style.  But, I'm not always enthusiastic about making them myself since I can only make small batches and good ones are hard to find lately.

I'm no longer a vegetarian but a lot of my family is and I've had my eyes on trying one of the impossible burgers for a while now.  Just found out they recently came to the Atlanta area so looking forward to my next trip that way.

THAT LOOKS SO GOOD.  YEAH I'M NOT VEGETARIAN EITHER BUT I DO ENJOY MANY OF THE VEGGIE FOODS.  FRI CHICK RIGHT OUT OF THE CAN IS GREAT.  BALANCE IS THE KEY, OR AS PAUL SAID, TEMPERANCE.

I miss Vegelona but they don't make it anymore.  You could push it out of the can and slice it, fry in butter and put in sandwich with sweet pickles and lots of mayo.

i like all analogs and the only place i eat them is at fellowship dinner :)

I like the veggie meat in the can like the links and cutlets.  I must learn how to make a better veggie burger/cutlet and dynamite nut cheese. I don't care for most of the store nut/soy cheese. They seem pretty bland and don't melt well. There has to be a better recipe.  I remember being a teen at the Adventist church and the potluck meals always had some great veggie meat offerings.

I like seitan (gluten). So many ways to cook it . https://www.facebook.com/groups/MakingSeitan/
