The average male will produce roughly 525 billion sperm cells over a lifetime and shed at least one billion of them per month. A healthy adult male can release between40 million and 1.2 billion sperm cells in a single ejaculation.

Does God choose which sperm fertilises the egg or do you think he set it up through nature and why.

Raymond your reply is interesting

Married couples do make mistakes as you say...but that does not mean we should be afraid to experience the two forms of love...the love males love and the way females love, and not experience a third love, the way children respond...

Love is an interesting thing...there are two love words in Scripture applied to persons....  Have a read

Love is not a single word in Scripture.

This profoundly affects how we should act spiritually.

The two love words are presented here simply.

The pictograph reads "The Strong Person ! Behold! in the Home"

The pictograph reads "The strong Person Behold! in the Home, (relating to another) Person. Behold!"

In the first word for love you see a Strong Person in the home. This is meaning inside the word, as each letter in the word is a picture by itself. The second word has a person in the home relating to another person. We might call the first word that of a Father's Love and the second word that of Fellowship Love, or Brotherly Love.

Ge 27:4 And make me savoury meat, such as I love..

Here is the first use of the first word for love.

Ge 29:20 And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her.

Here is the first use of the second word for love.

Notice how each Hebrew love word is responding differently. The first was for Isaac wanting meat he loves. The second is Jacob pouring out special attention to Rachel whom he loves and would marry.

Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Here in the beginning God creates mankind as two expressions of character and personality.

Maleness love and Femaleness love is a united completion of LOVE in Scripture.

Both genders can express both forms of love.

Maleness love is expressed mostly by providers.

Femaleness love is expressed mostly by receivers.

If you read through this fascinating study you will find marriage is a blissful way to learning about love in all it's depth...

Raymond I agree with you marriage is indeed hard work

It wasn't intended to be that way.

I don't know.  He has the big picture.  Why do some babies die, and some live.  Why are some of us born with genetic diseases and others not.

Ps. 127:3 Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.

Gen.  33:5 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who [are] those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.

Gen. 48:9 And Joseph said unto his father, They [are] my sons, whom God hath given me in this [place]. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.
