How are you going to deal with this SITUATIONS???

Finally, I would like to quote this, “You are what you read, hear, and see. You are what you think you are. After
all, what you know and say about yourself is more important than what
people think they know and say about you.”

hi sue
if everyone do this, the gossip have no destine and stop!
my professor of psychology told to me,that exist solution for bad attitudes sometimes in simple ways!
the teacher put about anonymous letter for example,if everyone just not open it,nobody will do,(cause will be just wasting time ,)and nobody have not consideration and the letter keeping closed is going to the bin!maybe you can say that this is funny but still that can work ,and sort it out ,stopping anonymous letters!
please ,I not put the last post just for fun(maybe is fun),but cause really works!
try yourself this way,and give me feed back please!
Hello Antonio,

I agree with you that we should check these statements out before we accept them!

The Bible says to bring witnesses, or proof, to substantiate the claim! People are innocent until proven guilty. Most people don't care about justice though. Because of this, righteousness suffers.

God Bless,

Joe.
if I accept the bad words or gossip about someone I am stimulating this and become myself
an accomplice! I must to reject !
blessings!

-Hi ate Sue! this is a nice post.. well actually i do have experienced a lot of situations like this..
but i have to say that i might have also hurt people through this.. i sometimes really speak "mean" words
especially when I'm mad.. and at the end i would really regret it!
some people really talk in a manner that might be really hurting.. and this happens even in our family
and our friends..

Paul reminds us that "we stumble in many ways". One of the ways we stumble is with our words.
So what is the cause of hurtful speech? In Luke 6:45, it tells us it is what is in our hearts that drives our speech and motivation. What is in our heart? Are we angry? Are we complaining? These feelings really motivate our speech and actions.

How do we control our tongue? Proverbs 15:28 tells us to weigh our answers. Let us not be like the wicked. Saying whatever you want with no regard for anyone's feelings. Think and ask yourself, is what I am going to say true? Will it build up or tear down? Our words have that kind of power.

One of the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) is self-control. A step toward self-control is guarding our tongues. We should read God's word, study it, and meditate on the passages concerning our speech. Let us always pray to God to guide our words so they are pleasing to Him.. God bless Us all! ;-)
Hey MARJORIE...

I like your thoughts...

thank you dear friend...

God bless you and may we all overcome the weakness of the tongue
and put in mind that whatever we say and do... it's by GOd's glory and praise...

Amen Sister Dale,

Your post was a real blessing.

God Bless,

Joe.
Something we can be sure about, is that gossipers can never be "peace-makers".

Quoting 5T 176.
"Blessed are the peacemakers." Grace and peace rest upon those who refuse to join in the strife of tongues. When vendors of scandal are passing from family to family, those who fear God will be chaste keepers [i.e. keepers of purity] at home. The time that is so often worse than wasted in idle, frivolous, and malicious gossip should be given to higher and nobler objects."
Excellent thoughts Stewart. Gossipers can't be peace-makers ... Amen. This is good advice even for this forum when some members try to talk personally about others.

Thanks, God Bless.
I know of people and even family in God's remnant church that speak falsely against me, but there is nothing I can do about it. So, I leave it in God's hands.

I pray for them and move on. I find comfort in God's promises and the fact they can't substantiate their charges.

God Bless,

Joe.
joe:
