Comment by Fight4Jesus on March 2, 2012 at 4:33pm: Nothing wrong with martial arts in general. Well, i have been doing full contact taekwondo for 10 years. In my young teenage years i wanted to be a sort of Goku/vegeta from dragonball Z. During that time i was also doing occult stuff so i wasn t doing it right. But now, if you do martial arts as a sports and forget about the mystic hocus pocus surrounding it, it is the best way to improve your physical and mental health.

You see SATAN always gets people to compromise anything or any Kind of Love that God wants us to have. So in love we worship God by keeping his truth, that is the way we show our love to him, is being obedient to him. JESUS Was constantly being mocked and abused, Did he excercise the use of force absolutely not. And are we to follow the example JESUS gave while here on earth yes. LOVE KINDNESS JENTLE MEEK. of all are the love of GOD. if you were in the engagement of kicking someone to the ground when JESUS Came you would not have a part in HEAVEN. sorry the Bible gives evidence throught the whole Bible... Martial arts also is like carry a knife, ready to cut someone up when givin the chance. If there is a need for release of stress or tention take the art of Jogging, running, swimming, Im not saying this as to stop people but it is a concern for a carring Brother to help others that may be misinformed or dont understand what is behind the motive of what we do or practise. May GOD BLESS EACH ONE OF YOU dont take this as offense, just sharing what i think GOD thinks of this. AMEN!!!!!!! B L E S SI N G S...

But the LORD GOD does not and will not approve of Marshal arts, you may ask why, well it contains a use of force against another individual, scripture is opposed to this, no matter how much one will protect the sport, by using other reasons of why they practice this. GOD knows the heart, and again marshal arts is truly the engagement of force against another individual, and at a time i started in this but was also convicted of bowing before the facility or the sensai. Of which GOD Forbids. but more so than this again it is the use of force fighting another individual. to be the VICTOR or the winner, The police require people to have there I.D. given to the training institution, because as they declare this a weapon, and it is. you have an advantage of a known way to administer force, just as you would not see a christian man using a gun against another. Both of these are weapons, no matter how much excuses there are. for why they are doing this.

Comment by Nolan Graves on June 8, 2011 at 2:00pm: This is true. Learning a combat system for the sake of fighting to fight or bully would most definitely be a walk down a very destructive path. I enjoy MA for its health benefits, ability to protect those around me, self confidence it brings about, and the knowledge one could acquire about themselves through the self discipline. I do believe the Lord can bring about an escape from all situations without violence, and so i always look for a way out of a fight immediately. Because the fights you avoid, are the only fights you truly win.
