O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with
a shield. ( Psalms 5:12 *NKJV )

In this busy World of ours we often forget to stop and count all of our blessings. If we are not careful we may even take them for granted!

So why not stop and count your blessings today, for when you count them you will find that there are many indeed! Also you will find that counting your blessings is a great way to begin you day!

Now the above verse reminds me of a poem that I very much enjoy. Today I would like to share that poem with you, and it is my hope that you will enjoy it as well!

Your Blessings Are So Many, Lord!

Your blessings are so many, Lord,
To count them one by one
Would take much longer than a day
That has just now begun!

You fill each day with miracles
From dawn to setting sun.
Each night You hear a million prayers
When day's work is done.

You keep this old world spinning
As seasons come and go,
And each one is a masterpiece
That stets our hearts aglow.

You fill the earth with beauty, Lord,
With flowers, shrubs and trees,
And we marvel at Your rainbows
And butterflies and bees.

Your words still give us comfort
For Your promises are true.
Your blessings are so many, Lord,
In everything we do!
Poet, Clay Harrison

Have a wonderful day and may; God be merciful to you and bless you, and cause His face
to shine upon you. Amen. ( Psalms 67:1 )

The Lord has been so good to me and by His grace I am here today with a borrowed life and the chance to live life again the second time. I have been diagnosed with Rheumatic Heart Disease since 2003 while I was in primary school doing grade 8. Throughout secondary school from 2004-2007 I had a very tough time. So in 2008 I didn't continue my education because of my health. 2009 was a very challenging and tough year for me. I was in the hospital for some weeks, I think about 3 weeks. I never use to use eat well and most of the times I was on oxygen. It was too much for me and I prayed and asked God to give me the breath of life that He gave to Adam if not then take my life but may His will be done. I prayed with faith trying my best not to give up and God will do the rest for me no matter what happens I will accept it. After I prayed I tried to get some sleep and rest. Each time I tried to sleep and when I'm almost about to doze of I felt that someone would wake me up so I decided to wake up. And when I opened my eyes I felt someone breath into me giving me air. My breathing slowly came back and I could breath. Then I was discharged after a week. I have seen the Lord's blessing in my life and I'm always thankful to God for what He has done for me. I will never forget this experience as long as I live. In all that we do have faith. With God all things are possible. God knows what is best for each of us. I had been struggling with fear for a while..It was probably one of the things that brought me back to church after 20 years...It was a heavy, overriding feeling of fear, about anything, and nothing.. He first tried to snap me out of it in an almost accident on an icy road..It really WAS scary!!..But I ended up missing a semi truck, a pick-up truck, a tree, and came to a stop perfectly between a post and a mailbox..So I KNEW He had me..I KNEW I shouldn't be afraid, but still I was...

The very next week at church, the main person who had reached out to me in my 4 weeks back in a SDA church, read before seperating for SS classes...What she read was 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath NOT GIVEN us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."...I knew right then that I had been given a great gift in the knowledge that I could get out from under that sense of fear..That simply because I choose Jesus, fear HAS to go!!..And He gives me the power that makes it so!!.....I have truly lost the fears I had been harboring...they were really misplaced remnants of a frightful relationship that God graciously brought me out of through the death of my father, of all things.

I have faith I will see my father in heaven, and that he will be pleasantly surprised to see his prodigal daughter there!!...God is so good to give us these beautiful imaginations to look to in times of trial..

Amazing Evelyn, God has come through again.

As christians we have the hope that when our loved ones pass on and have died with christ, we can be comforted in knowing what the Bible has confirmed. We will weep and be in pain over the loss and the struggles left behind but we know that with our trust in God he will see us through.

Keep the faith my sister and know that you and the family will be in our prayers. Your aunt made her choice for Christ before she passed its up to you and the rest of the family to remain faithful - its going to be a great reunion - coming soon. God bless

Lord, I believe. Help me to keep on believing, keep focussed on you and not just stay afloat, but walk, move forward and be greatly successful.
