Thank for leaving you question. You mentioned: Mic 7:16, 17 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.
Yes, in one way we may apply these verses to all the wonderful works of God; men are not able to explain them and are confounded by them. Resurrection can not be explained; we accept by faith in Jesus' promise and by the fact that He resurrected some people and came from the grave Himself. Read 1 Cor. 15:12-20.
The most wonderful thing is that the saints that died after 1844, under the third angel's message, keeping the Sabbath are seal and shall resurrect before the second coming of Jesus. They will be alive to see Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven; so they are part of the Israel of God of this last days. Rev 14:12-14.

Permalink Reply by Alexander on September 2, 2011 at 6:03pm My understanding was those resurrected after the 1000 years are awakened still buried and have to dig themselves out.
I do agree that it seems a lot for that text to say, but it reads clearly enough to me.
What do you believe?
God Bless, Alex.
Permalink Reply by Frank T. Clark on September 3, 2011 at 11:28am This is getting a little more detailed than I think is useful to ponder. However, it is an interesting concept. I think we can find guidance in the first mass resurection recorded in the Bible.
Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
The indication is they did not have to dig themselves out. Other references also indicate something similar. I find it awkward to imagine God would raise the saints and then make them dig themselves out.
