I was doing my devotion and read Hebrews 2, and verse 10 struck me as powerful. "For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings."
This Captain of our salvation, I believe, is Jesus and it is significant that He was MADE perfect through sufferings--when He was on earth of course. It's not the first time I've read the verse, but today, it hit me that I murmur and complain when my circumstances aren't what I want them to be. But if I am to overcome the way Jesus overcame, I must be made perfect through my sufferings just the way He was. Is anyone with me on this one?
