Hi there osei kankam joshua, sight singing is learned through real practice, practice and practice. Here are some steps on how you'll proceed to your practice.

1. Familiarize the tune of each note from DO to TI. (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, Do) a. Press the "middle C" or the "DO" note on your keyboard to help you acquire the standard tune.

By knowing the tune of the DO you'll be able to sing the do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti-do in a standard tune. The most important thing to remember is the DO tune for it is where everything starts.

b. Hum the DO tune every now and then, it will help you remember.

c.Try to shuffle the notes (do-mi, mi-sol, la-do) with its standard tune and check on the keyboard if you got it right.

2. Practice with a piece or music score.

-since that your aiming to acquire sight singing, I do expect that you know how to read notes from a music stave.

a. Begin with an easy piece. A piece with no accidentals (flats or sharps) and a piece that is not familiar to you.

b. Hum the DO first for; again, it is where everything starts.

c. Try reading the notes on the stave. Always remember that you can go back to DO to find track of the notes that you’re not sure of.

Ex:

A note (sol) is given, hum the DO first for you to be able to track down the right tune for this note if you can't sing the right tune right away.

3. Make progress by finding another piece. Later on, try scores with accidentals.

3 Things to remember:

1. You can always go back to DO to track down tunes.

2. Check it on the keyboard if your confuse with your tune.

3. Practice.

-I hope that this step-by-step process helps you and is understandable. Succeeding results may be obtained;

1. sight reading

2. perfect pitch.

Have a nice day friend! God bless!
