@Ramona McK
Not sure which video you are referring to but would like to know which one.
If you want the music of Jerusalem, I would like to suggest that you work out which continent Jerusalem is in, then continue from there. I do hope you do not become too defensive when you realise.

Classical music is great,I am not sure how much it has been affected by African music but it has. I do have a question though; Why select a musical style to praise The Lord which has very little to do with the original music in the bible?

Love to hear from you.

This is a fantastic video on music.  However, a lot of people become defensive when they hear the part about the music coming from Africa.   I mentioned this once and did I get an earful!      I used to listen to rock but then I stopped listening to all music for a few years except what I heard on the news.   Then I started listening to classical music.   I am still trying to find the ancient music that was played in the Temple when it was in Jerusalem.   Any hints as to where I can find this type of music?    It will be greatly appreciated!
