did the bible say not to eat meat ?? But everyone know that vegetarians are healthier people
Man was not created as carnivores. Read the creation story in Gen.Anything after that is am aternative (from sin). Mankind are still the same from creation I not carnivores.

Actually, we have adapted to be omnivores, otherwise meat would be fatal.  I am not saying this is ideal. However, after sin, all of nature was adapted and not for glory. It will, however, be one day restored.

Thanks Knife's, I appreciate your perspective. I will remain an herbivore despite the adaption.

Gen 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Lev 17:14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

Deu 12:23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.

Gen 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Act 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

I repeat, mankind was not created as carnivores Jason. Man had to adapt that as a result of sin. You quoted man's original, planned, intended, diet in Gen 1. Mankind are not carnivores.

Man did not have to adapt, he choose to adapt.  Even with all of his adaptation, there are still some flesh foods that the human stomach cannot digest.  Those meats just rot there before being discharged.

We therefore dig our graves with our teeth by the choices we make then Ray?

That is about the case.  Note this inspired comment.

     "Everything Depends on Its Right Action.--The tempted one needs to understand the true force of the will. This is the governing power in the nature of man-- the power of decision, of choice. Everything depends on the right action of the will. Desires for goodness and purity are right, as far as they go; but if we stop here, they avail nothing. Many will go down to ruin while hoping and desiring to overcome their evil propensities. They do not yield the will to God. They do not choose to serve Him."--MH 176 (1905).  {2MCP 685.2}

What we choose is what we become.  In the area of food, we are what we eat.  Some people tend to look that way too.  LOL  (No cameras allowed, please. LOL)  So, we not only dig our graves with our teeth, we also can do many other damaging things with them.

Happy Sabbath!

Maranatha :)

Thanks Ray, from time to time I read things but have not developed the skill have keeping  the  references. I read somewhere in the pen of inspiration that the more we eat the flesh of animals the more we behave like them. She also said that those who are preparing for translation should move away from the eating of flesh.

I know for sure that there will be no Kentucky etc. in Heaven or John the Revelator would have mentioned one probably made of glass along the street of gold.... Lol

As log as we are on earth, and God allowed us to eat flesh/meat. It is good for us. Let us eat it with joy. Of coz too much of something becomes bad. Let us not over-eat it as it has side effects. As long as I am eating what the LORD prescribed in His Holy book, I am ok.
