It takes faith to love!  If we don't love we don't know God through Jesus Christ

Yes indeed. It takes faith to love, especially when somebody is hostile toward us. To genuinely love somebody despite our immediate hurt feelings, takes more than human strength.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Pastor T.  May you live long and Prosper.

so do seventh day Adventist celebrate   Christmas now? ...cause that new news to me .

No we don't but we do recognize the day

SDA do recognize and celebrate Christmas.

If you don't want to you don't have to. If you want o join an organization that forbids Christmas, become a Jehovah Witness.

Leon,
Of course the SDA celebrate Christmas, but some are fooling themselves by calling it witnessing.
I will admonish you, and all those who are "witnessing" at this time (wink, wink) to tune to the living God, and worship Him that have made the heavens and earth and the fountains of water; honor the true God.

14Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Peace

How do we celebrate it Gene? Are you saying we acknowledge Dec.25 as being a holy day set by GOD, do we believe Jesus was really born on Dec.25? No.....

Can we use this time to acknowledge His birth and all the wonderful events that surrounded it? Sure, why not? We can do it in Oct., Nov, etc....

Only issue I might have is the mas in Christmas... When I think of mas, I think of the rcc... I like saying happy joy in Christ to people. The new year starts in spring, not in mid-winter.

"... Anciently the year did not commence in midwinter, as now, but at the first new moon after the vernal equinox. Therefore, as the period of 2300 days was begun in a year reckoned by the ancient method, it was considered necessary to conform to that method to its close. Hence, 1843 was counted as ending in the spring, and not in the winter. – {GC88 681.4}

So the Church teachings are clear... Now if people within the Church holds on to some things that we are to come out from in regards to Christmas, then maybe you should talk about that instead of a blanket charge to the who,e 7th Day Adventist Church.

Blessings!
Reasoning,
If Adventist did not keep it they would not celebrate or acknowledge in any way. The God of the bible gave His holy days and their Sabbaths as signs of acknowledgements. The fact that Jesus was born is just that; a fact.

What the church is doing is sacrilegious. God doesn't acknowledge nor recognize these man made doctrines. The story of his birth is only spoken of at Christmas because Christmas is celebration of his birth. God gave the Passover to recognize Christ death, but nothing was given to recognize his birth.

The church should repent and turn away from doing evil in the sight of the Lord; why call evil good?
Sure you quote EGW, but where does she say the church should not keep Christmas, she doesn't.

Observing the feasts days now is sacrilegious
