Hello Zimri been a while hoping all is well with you. Yes indeed the eternal question, how can I be assured of salvation, as I understand your question. And yes a most important question indeed.

Joh 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Joh 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Joh 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Joh 11:27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Joh 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

1Jn 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1Jn 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1Jn 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
1Jn 5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Joh 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Joh 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Joh 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Joh 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Have you noticed a pattern in these verses? Most of them are from the lips of Jesus and most of them are from the Gospel of John. The Gospel of John is the most assuring book in the entire Bible about someone’s assurance of salvation. Read it when you have doubts because it will keep you out of doubts.

Thanks Elijah.

Thats right,Most of them are from the lips of Jesus.

The change that takes place when we give our lives to Jesus is very great. Our habits change. The old way of thinking changes. We do not like the things we liked before. Our words are not the same. Our life is entirely different. Because this change is so great,we can say that the evil person has '"died".

In Matthew 28:19, The Lord Jesus Christ gave us the answer,He said, "You must go to the people in all nations and make them my disciples by baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son,and the Holy Spirit". it is through baptism that we take God's name.;)

Yes very true Zimri

Although not all can be baptized, and for them a profession of faith will be OK. For example the thief on the cross.

Luk 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
Luk 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
Luk 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
Luk 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

WEll in the case of the thief  on the cross,I can say that was profession by faith. He believes in God rightaway.

In the time of Jesus, the Jews placed themselves in the water to wash away their sins. They called this baptism.John the Baptist also did this.He baptized people by placing them in the water of the Jordan river. He said that the purpose of this was to wash away their sins.( John 3:23)

The apostle Paul spoke of this. He said that baptism is for removing sin. He called it a "washing" or "cleaning" He said it shows we are made new by the Holy Spirit( Titus 3:5).

In baptism,we are "buried" in the water for brief second. Then we come up. When we come up,this shows that we have been born again. It is  a public way of saying that a new person now lives.

Romans 6:4. The Father is so great and powerful that he raised Christ,to make him alive again after death. And he raises us too, so that we can live a new life.;)

I would say we must be practicing the science of salvation daily

This means doing the daily steps to Jesus, as written in EGW Steps to Christ

Or

As written in the Book of Yeshua in the OT, also know as Hosea (another spelling)

Q1: What are the steps to Jesus?     Science of Salvation

Many years ago in my youth, I was learning to become a believer in Jesus reading my KJV Bible and praying occasionally, wondering how does one really become saved, and what steps are involved if any? Do I have to study my Bible to be saved ? What things does one pray about? And do I have to share my faith with others? Is there any Bible authority listing such processes in some logical order ?

Than I asked the Lord to show a Bible verses that listed the Steps to Jesus in chronlogical order in a single Bible passage. Jesus showed me this very passage. Now I challenge any pastor or priest out there....

"Where do you find in one Bible passage the exact chronological order of steps a sinner has to take in order to be saved?" Isn't this the greatest experimental procedure we all need in the Science of Salvation?

Wouldn’t this be the most wonderful discovery of all time?

A young rich man ran to Jesus once and asked Him, “Good Master what I must do to be saved?” Indeed there are works that a man must do to be saved each day? Yes, the process of salvation is a daily active principle of action that all people must do to be saved. Now without further ado, let us look into the Book of Salvation and see these wonderful promises..

The Book of Hosea also known as the Book of Salvation, or the Book of Yeshua (Jesus) and tells the story of a Man of God who was asked to take an adulterous for his wife. This book in the Bible is the story of Jesus, the Man of God taking us as his church for marriage. The parallels and the poetry of pictures make this book a fascinating study for all time. At the end of this little book of salvation runs the most wonderful themes of salvation ever recorded in one place in Scripture. Beginning on the last chapter are the chronlogical steps a sinner has to take in order to be individually saved by Jesus' power flowing in him or her. These steps will outline the Science of Salvation and using Ancient Hebrew script we will see the original message God intended in this beautiful passage of scripture. Shalom

Yes indeed Bob,the process of salvation is a daily active principle of action that all people must do to be saved. WE should LIVE what WE PREACH!

Sometimes, extra biblical analysis or exegesis leads to mislead.. your question is very important "HOW CAN I BE SURE THAT IM A MEMBER OF HIS FAMILY?  John 10:27-30 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. DID YOU READ "MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE" =1. THE SHEEP HERE "HIS" VOICE 2. AND I KNOW THEM. 3. "THEY FOLLOW ME. ... SEE THAT IS ... HIS OWN.. NOT ONLY A FAMILY BUT A FLOCK....

Yes thats true Nathan!

Nice Nathan, but if you check out the Book Of Yeshua (Hoshea is other spelling) Jesus is a groom marrying adultery (us as sinners), the end of the chapter tells you how to maintain a marriage to Christ, known as EGW puts it the Steps to Christ.... it is also a Science of Salvation...things we must do daily....

These things are no different to human marriages....

talk, walk and do things together

See my link for Biblical steps found in one Bible passage

Q2: What is the first step to Jesus?      THE SINNERS NEED

O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. KJV

O SINNER return home to thy Father’s house, for thou hast fallen by your guilt.

If you follow the Ancient Hebrew script, the first step of salvation reads:-

1 . Pressing securely homeward you, a sinner in character, see through the door of your mind the ONE who EXISTS, the Strong Authority, that secures you, yes you; and with your palms active, your praying hands pressed to the Authority, which is the cross, a marked home, where at the end of your rope, that guilt which binds you tightly and walking over you, ( you reach out to Your Saviour for help).

(1) The Sinner

Israel is typified by a sinner who “missing the mark”. The pictograph reads "outside covering strong".
A slinger is shooting a stone at the standard, raised by an outside frame, the covering shows the how the attempt was cast, and the bulls eye the very centre of a perfect attempt.

(2) repents

The pictograph reads : "pressed, secure, homeward".
This is the idea of a lost sinner turning back to back to the Father's house.

(3) of your guilt.

The pictograph reads "twisted, secure".
The thorns of our inquity or guilt entangle us. Only Jesus can truly free us from the thorns of our guilt.

You think this first daily task is easy ? It’s the hardest task of them all, for to achieve this task one has to acknowledge you have fallen….. In the Bible is the hardest question God ever asked Adam when he became a sinner.

Genesis 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, “Where art thou?”

Where are you in your life, SINNER? Where are you going with it ? Where are you right now? Are you willing for your pride to be ground?

Summary step 1.

With my will, at the end of our guilty rope,

we sow tears of faith and hope,

in our Saviour..

I AM your Saviour, be willing to let me in. Humble not proud.

Salvation theme

Here is a sample page showing the Ancient Hebrew as well
