Just wondering if the fact that the stones were finished off site (I Kings 6:7) has any spiritual significance for us.
1Ki 6:12 Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:
A house is a symbol of your presence with GOD. You are NOT to add your technology to GOD's design.
The altar or prayer place, is NOT to be constructed by stairs, but by a ramp.
How many churches do you see with steps leading to the altar rostrum which our assembly prayers ascend?
When you worship in a place where GOD dwells, like your prayer place, keep it simple, and keep it technology free.
I read my Bible these days using a computer? Is this wrong? My mind cannot read Hebrew in a paper Bible, so I need my computer as a brain to help me.
Some have asked me, why must we read our Bibles in Hebrew? and not the translated English?
Cause Scripture says so....
In the place where Scripture says to read Scripture, it adds:
Isa 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
The Bible makes prophecy that Hebrew will go out to speak to people in another tongue. This in the NT days was Greek, and today is English. That makes Hebrew the original tongue.
Back to your quest, the red heifer was also killed outside the camp? Why was that?
Shalom my friend
Thanks. It would be nice to have a face to face sharing sometime. Technology sucks for making friends.
But if you want one on one talking every worship time, I am happy to talk to you.
I can't find any SDA persons willing to defend their faith, except myself as a SDA person.
I get one email only. the rest is silence. I am interested in real topics, like what is faith or surrender, and how are you really saved by Jesus on a daily basis, the sort of thing we are fearful to discuss.
I currently talk to a friendly Jew, every morning, who is Messanic and follows Gnostic writings too.
Such things may be beyond you? not sure? but it's an eye opener dealing with Jews.
God bless you and your growing in Jesus.
