What is the meaning of a hypocrite?? As opposed to One who fears God.

God fearing people are always seeking to do His will and focus on Jesus and others.  Hypocrites are concerned with meeting their own needs and often don't care about "walk in the light" as Jesus would put it.  God is coming soon and we will wait for the resurrection.

Kind Regards...

The Dictionary says this:

Hypocrite: a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.

We recall Jesus calling the Pharisees hypocrites that were because they were displaying a Piousness outwardly while in their hearts they where it says:

Mat 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

Brother Elijah,

Hypocrite means a person that does not live up to what they are supposed to.  In other words someone that is drinking the cup of abominations from the whore Babylon the great and her fornication, in other words someone that does not walk the talk of Christian beliefs.

live what you preach...

Thanks, Andrew what you say is quite correct, I just did not want to go as hard as you did then. But you are quite correct in what you are saying.

Brother Elijah,

Where art thou my beloved brother Elijah??
