Seventh-day Adventist Social Workers

Social work is a huge concept in our modern society. With the increase of social problems the need for such workers is becoming more and more apparent. Yet the way the Seventh-day Adventist should practice this ministry different to the world. Here we can share with each others the issues that we confront daily and how we handle them with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Hi fellow social workers. Happy Sabbath. I have been a social worker for 5 years, It would be nice to talk to others about SW issues. I was telling a friend at work how stressed I was this week and how I didn't feel I could tell my manager. I only found a source of relief when I cried to the Lord for relief from my torture. He sent someone for me to talk to who advised me and God helped me to realise that I was not managing certain issues correctly. I am so grateful to God for His blessings and support in my career.
